Bridget was the stylist that worked on me and i can not praise her enough for how well of a job she did. I knew what I wanted and she almost seemed more excited to color my hair than I was to get it done. She did the bleaching for the under color very well and made sure to often ask whether or not it was burning which imo is always a good sign you’re in good hands (it never did burn btw) and gave me some styling tips too. I really loved how my hair turned out and genuinely feel like as long as you know what you want done, you’ll get it. Ive had bleach in before and hesitated to do it again bc of how unhealthy it made my hair feel but my hair still feels so healthy and nice. Definitely gonna be my go-to place from now on!

Very wonderful people. (I’m so sorry, I forgot the name of the stylist who cut my hair.) I walked in to just check out the prices and stuff, and they managed to get me booked in that very same day! They helped me with just a maintenance wash and cut. I absolutely love the shampoo and conditioner they used, Lumos. Normally my hair would start to feel oily after about a half a week with my Dove shampoo/conditioner. But has been over a week and there is very little oil buildup. I am very happy about this as my hair is quite fine so I don’t often wash it unless it starts to really build up oil. (I had found that my fine hair was getting damaged more if I washed it more than a couple of times a week.) They even helped me start to get to the bottom of a scalp problem I had whenever I dyed my hair. Overall, the experience was incredible, and I will be coming back. 🙂

Bridget has been cutting my hair for years and she does a fantastic job every single time. I come out looking like a million bucks. I opted for the coloring/glaze last time and the results were amazing. She’s great at what she does and puts her heart into her art. She’s really nice too and you won’t experience the awkward, silent experiences in the chair with her around. If you want a quality cut on a budget, go to Shears to You and ask for Bridget.

This is my favorite place to go to get my hair cut. The ladies that work here are always super sweet and nice. I always ask for Bridget, she does a great job and very detail orientated. She also makes great recommendations on new ways to cut/style my hair and has the best product recommendations for my hair. If you go make sure you ask for Bridget.

I have 4c hair. I asked before I went in if anyone had experience with that type of hair, I was told nobody specializes in it but have worked with it before. Stylist barely washed my hair. Just applied the shampoo on top of my hair & rinsed. Same with the conditioner. Then didn’t have the proper equipment to do my hair. Told them twice to turn the blow dryer up because my hair wasn’t drying. Tried using the brush but only shook the blow dryer over my head & brushed my wet hair over my already “dried” hair. Had to help her section my hair to blow dry it. Continuously said my hair was still wet & the blow dryer needed to be turned up so that it can dry. Stylist kept saying “I don’t want to burn you”. It would have been impossible for them to burn me because the blow dryer was on cool. At the end my hair was still wet. They told me “it feels warm to me”. That’s not how blow drying hair works. When I initially called I was told it’s $35 when I went to check out I was charged $50 for “time”. It wouldn’t have been much time if the stylist knew how to blow dry hair. I feel like the stylist purposely kept the blow dryer low to continue upping the price. Very disappointed. Won’t be going back.

Bridget has been my hair stylist for many years. She knows exactly how to cut color and style my fine hair (and it’s not easy). We’ve gone from black to blonde to growing out gray. She always has great suggestions and I walk away very happy with my hair. I don’t trust any other hair stylist with my hair. I was very impressed with Shears to You. I called this morning to see if they had an opening and they got me right in. Bridget is AMAZING! I went from hair that was halfway down my back to a pixie cut. She listened to what I wanted and my hair looks just like the picture I showed her. I will definitely keep coming back. Haircut

I went on the recommendations of others online. I requested Michelle as she came highly recommended. I am beyond pleased!!!! Since moving to Lakewood in 2007, I have tried several ( I honestly lost count) stylists and none could cut my hair the way my previous stylist did. Michelle knocked it out of the park! I have the best cut now ! Also we clicked right away. I am so fortunate to have found her.
