I have been seeing Janina for about 4 years now! For all of my life, it was so hard for me to find a hair stylist I trusted, but Janina changed that for me :). She really takes her time to get to know you, your preferences, and has great recommendations on what colors and haircuts will best complement your face shape/skin tone/etc. I have faithfully returned to her for all of my haircut and coloring needs. She recently moved her business into Simsbury, and it is a beautiful space! I also love all of her other staff; they are so friendly and welcoming :). She also has an amazing selection of hair care products including Ecru and Moroccan Oil—both of which I buy, use and Love!! They keep my hair looking (and smelling, haha) its best between appointments :).

I cannot give a high enough review for this salon. i went in there with over a foot of thick dead curly hair. I decided i was ready to chop it all off. I had my appointment with Kasia and she did an absolutely amazing job. i had 2 styles i couldnt decide between that i loved (both very very short) and she went through the pros and cons of both for my hair type until i decided on the one i wanted. i am so happy with the outcome and i cant wait to go back and see her so she can work her magic! she is by far the best i have been to. If you are looking for a new salon, look no further!

Thu is an amazing massage therapist! She is extremely knowledgeable about the body and very effective at fixing trouble spots. I was super excited that the spa had moved since the old building did not allow for a quiet space for massages. Unfortunately, the new spot is just as bad. I could hear people talking loudly throughout my entire 90 minute session. If you don’t mind gossipy, loud, chit chat while you are trying to relax then give Thu a try, she is worth every penny! If you want a quiet, relaxing experience look elsewhere.

Same experience as the women who complained of the hearing people gossip during obtaining a service. I know way to much about how the owner feels about her staff. Kasia, who does my hair, is so wonderful I tough it out.

Apparently, they aren’t honoring gift certificates purchased prior to their move. I would avoid this as a gift since they might just change their name again and make off with your money. Very poor business practices to not honor the agreement made when a gift certificate is purchased.
