My 3 young sons and I have been coming to Shear Vanity, for haircuts, for over 3 years. Convenience, Great with Kids and Great Hair Cut and Styles ! that’s why we keep coming back. Setting up or changing an appointment online is really easy and convenient, even if they are closed. My son, Joe’s, high school musical is this week. He plays the lead in “We Will Rock You.” I scheduled a hair appointment for him for last weekend but the musical rehearsal went long and I had to cancel the appointment only an hour before it was due. I felt horrible about it; Jason @ Shear Vanity understood that the kid is trying to channel Freddie Mercury and that takes time. Fast-forward to this weekend. Joe really wanted his hair cut before the musical. Problem was… he was also performing in a choir concert on Saturday and wouldn’t be home until 7 PM. No way we could get it done Saturday and Shear Vanity was closed on Sunday. I messaged Jason with the dilemma and he agreed to open on Sunday just to do the kid’s hair. Unbelievable! He worked with Joe on his look and the two talked about music, drama, and all things rock-n-roll. Then Joe shared his other urgent problem: he needed a leather jacket for the show. “Oh, I have several,” Jason replied like it was no big deal. So off we went to check out Jason’s jackets; we leave his place with two on loan. I was just floored. What a stand-up guy!

I started looking for hair salons in the area and when I saw that Jason had 5 stars, I immediately booked our appointments. When we showed up, Jason was very friendly and got straight to work. He was fun to talk to and gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants and places we could visit. On top of that, he checked in often to make sure that we were happy with how our hair was looking, and if there was anything else we would like to add or change. When we got done with our haircuts, he had enough time to offer my boyfriend a beard trim, which he ended up making free for our first time and a “welcome to the area.”Overall, our experience was absolutely flawless.
