I do not usually leave google reviews but Mary did such a killer job that I can’t be quiet about it. I got a wash, deep condition keratin treatment, cut, and style. I’d scheduled it with very little padding time before I had to go to a wedding (this is a character flaw of mine) and when I told Mary my concern at the beginning of my appointment, she said she’d have me out of there on time. The woman knows what she’s doing – she paced herself in a way that had me out EARLY, looking like a whole snack. I paid half of what I paid for the same service in NYC a month or so ago – in less than half the time and better results. The other hairdresser who was present during my appointment was friendly, funny, and sent several customers home happy while I was there as well. They’re hopping on weekends so make sure to make an appointment always!

Online it says they are open. I drive to the location which is all boarded up. Call the number in the window as it says they have relocated. No one pick up and the message is not for Shear value salon. It seems they are now out of buisness and hopefully Google can reflect this so no one wastes their time like I did.

I showed up at 6:30 and the doors were LOCKED (30minutes before they were supposed to be closed)! Lights were off, everyone was home! Literally tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. Lights were off, everyone was home! Literally tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. I have prom tomorrow and I have almost no time to get my hair cut. My favorite hair place! Been going here for years. They’re efficient (even if you have to wait, it’s usually not too long), friendly, clean and fairly priced. I’ve never had a bad cut from here, even though I never really have a clear idea of what I want. A cut and eyebrow wax runs me less than 30$, so it’s a win win to me.

I relocated back from New York and tried another salon, first time was okay second time the chic just did not listen and the highlights went from my roots light to dark to light ( on a strand ? ) I asked them to fix it and they gave me needless to say a hard time so asta.. Met Peggy, she listened was patient careful and awesome! Nice little walk in place… I am sorry the other person was put off because I have hit many salons in New York City and this lovely little place is just a gem.

Great place…I went in having had a bad experience elsewhere in the past. Staff is so friendly, and I felt completely at ease…stylist listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. Have been back several times…the new shop is amazing…so clean and spacious!
