I’ve been a client of Shear Success since it opened. The staff is great, friendly and very professional. The salon is low-key and pleasant. I get a cut and color every appointment, and when I leave my hair is nicely tapered and the color is consistent. Their rates are very reasonable and competitive for the service provided. **update** I am so disappointed in shear success. I absolutely love Andrea and I showed up to my appt and the salon was closed as Andrea has moved. The owner did not call or inform me, which I find incredibly disappointing. I found Andrea at salon concepts (hair by Dre llc) in Apple valley and she fit me in immediately!! The customer service is awful and I’m so happy I found Andrea at her new location!!!

April was a referral. I love her! I would definitely go back. She knew exactly how to do balayage . There was no frills . No marketing or sales tactics. Just your good quality hair cut and color. I would highly recommend seeing April. I think I’ve found my hair stylist!

April was wonderful. I had used a boxed hair color to highlight my hair and it was a total mess. I have strawberry blond hair and I put is RED! it was awful. I put my hair in Aprils hands. We got rid of almost all the RED and she calmed it down with some soft highlights and a great cut. Great customer service. Thank you!

Have lived in Minnesota for a short while and have searched for a new hairdresser after having the same one for 23 years! Andrea was amazing and very attentive to my needs and wants for my hair. She did an excellent job, was incredibly friendly and gave a killer head massage while washing my hair 🙂 Would highly recommend this place!

Shear Success is excellent. Amazingly convenient in the Normandale office complex, and the staff are excellent stylists and very friendly. They are very respectful of your time, and are always on time and get you out the door expeditiously but with a great focus on quality. I see Andrea there and highly recommend her.

I love my visits to Erika at Shear Success Salon! Erika is a superb colorist and sylist. I initially found the salon through a groupon coupon for a smoothing treatment a couple of years ago and ended up finding an awesome salon that I return to for all my services. I live in MN only part-time and the first and last thing I do when I come and go is book my salon appointments. The location is super convenient and the atmosphere very pleasant. There is definitely a difference in a small business that is operated by a caring/interested owner!

I arrived about 45 minutes late for my 9:30 AM appointment and miss Bailey still squeezed me into her schedule, which I am thankful for. I had a cow lick from my self induced pixie cut and Bailey got me looking classy again. The products are supplied by Aveda which I love. So, I will be definitely coming back for a regular trim every six months.
