Janet is the sole owner of Shear Productions, has been behind the chair for over 40 years. In her vast experience, she has won various awards for hair styling and business of the year, done platform work for many beauty companies, and educated and coached other salon owners. Janet’s unique flair for making people look good and feel good attracts clients from all over the Denver Metro area including Lakewood, Morrison, Littleton, Golden, Wheat Ridge, and Edgewater.

I was very impressed by this salon and the hairdresser who gave me a great haircut. I have difficult hair to style and have had more than a few negative experiences at other salons…this one was one of the very best I have been to! The hairdresser (Lauren) was super nice, positive, and professional and really listened to what I wanted. I wanted a dramatic, short cut and she talked me through the whole experience to make sure I was getting what I wanted. The ambience was great and the price was less than I have spent for a much less comfortable and less positive experiences. I will definitely go back to this salon for every single haircut I get in the future!

Howdy, I had a great experience with Shear Productions Salon in helping me for my wedding day! Their staff (and Jess) were extremely helpful with meeting my requests and even provided great suggestions. I highly recommend a hair trial to get comfortable with your specific hair style for your wedding day and provide pictures of what you want. They were also very accommodating with meeting my needs as the bride and even assisted with providing lunch for myself and my wedding party. My hair and makeup turned out absolutely beautiful and I received SOOOO many compliments!!! I highly recommend Shear Productions 🙂

I had my wedding hair done by Shear Productions. They accommodated my bridesmaids as well. They made us mimosas to drink while they worked on our hair and makeup. They also let us bring in some catered food by King Soopers and so we were able to eat. Becca did my hair and was AMAZING. She knows what she’s doing, and was able to perfectly do my hair and makeup. I highly recommend them. I have had my hair cut by Shaina, and she was so friendly and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend them!

I got my hair cut and colored about a month or so ago at Shear Productions. My stylist, Kayla, did an amazing job on my hair! I love the red she added, very dimensional, and the cut was perfect. The other workers at the salon were very nice, professional and provided excellent customer service.

I went in today for a ombré/balyage and let me tell you, Lauren J. Chavez was beyond amazing. She walked me through everything she was doing and made my hair look amazing. Lauren fixed up my ombré from before and also fixed up my hair. I definitely recommend her! This salon is by far my new favorite the ladies are all so sweet.

I only recommend for a hair cut. I got a “baylayage” and spent almost $200 to leave with blue/green highlights and an ombre finish. I emailed the salon manager asking for a refund or credit and I received no sort of response. I had to spend another $200 just to correct it. Some people should just not do hair.
