Erin is THE best! I used to get around with my hair – paying an arm and a leg for the fancy places in stroudsburg that judge you and take all your money. Shear Perfections is NOT that type of a place! I can never describe what I want so I’m able to show Erin pictures and she discusses what she can and can’t do, based on my hair texture and color, face shape, etc. Its like she reads my mind! The prices are very reasonable for the amazing result I get each time. I’ve only had Erin do my hair but all the other girls in the salon are always very kind and professional. Shear Perfections is also great for walk-ins with my husband and son. My toddler loves getting his hair cut because all the ladies fawn all over him and he’s treated like a big boy. I went here after a few bad experiences from other salons in the area. I am so glad I decided to give them a chance. Liz is wonderful! She was so pleasant and upbeat. She really listened to me and gave me great input to help me get my hair how I want it. She came up with a long term plan to repair the damage the bad cuts did. She asked me all throughout the cut how I felt about what she was doing so I had the opportunity to ask for any adjustments. From what I saw, the other stylists did some great cuts and were all very nice as well. I really love that everyone there is focused on their client and what they’re doing. Some other places I’ve been, you are all but ignored and they will chat among themselves rather than paying attention to what they’re doing. I was able to get a same day appointment, and the wait was short when I arrived. I will definitely be sticking with them!

I went to Shear Perfections for the first time and got my hair cut by Jillian today and it looks amazing!!! I’m pretty picky about salons after having a hair stylist give me an unintentional mullet last year, but Jillian really eased any worries I may have had. She was very professional and did exactly what I asked for. Cut the perfect amount off where it wasn’t too much but it got all the dead ends off of my hair. I will recommend this salon to all of my friends and family in the area!

I have been going to shear perfectionist for a couple of years now and have never had a problem. Every hair stylist that I’ve gone to has done a great job with my hair. At this point I won’t go anywhere else. Why would I? I’ve had several different things done to my hair and every time was better than the last. I usually go to Erin. I think she is my favorite but really they’re all good.

I had the pleasure of getting a same day appointment last Tuesday here. Though it is a further drive for me it far exceeded my expectations. Sam was a hairstylist who did half a head of highlights and gave my hair a long overdue haircut! I showed her a photo of what I was interested in and we went through some colors. Since I’m Chinese certain colors are hard to stay on my hair but the overall result was brilliant. And what made it better is the prices were very fair. I don’t feel they overcharged like some salons in the area. Thank you sam for a wonderful job!

While reading these mixed reviews I can only laugh because this salon is probably one of the few and far between that you will find with ladies that listen and do what you want to do. Maybe you can’t get an appointment because they are so backed up with people getting hair appointments in and shouldn’t that be a good thing? Instead of a production line hair salon? I think so.

After having a bad experience at another place, I was so happy I went to this salon!!! The last girl that did my hair left it so over processed and dead that I was breaking brushes trying to do my hair!!! I had Lisa when I arrived and right away she was so sweet and fun !! After talking about how damaged my hair was and what my expectations were she quickly helped me decide on what to get done. She took the time it needed due to my hair being so dead and by the end my hair turned so soft and wonderful!! The color we picked turned out perfect and I can’t believe how amazing my hair looks and feels!!! Everyone in the salon was so friendly and happy!! I love Lisa and I will continue going to her from now on !!

Best kept secret is that Liz is excellent at cutting hair extensions! I walked in with jacked-up sew in hair extensions that I cut myself. I mistakely layered one side in a different shape than the other and couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I wanted her to clean it up and to layer it in the back. The extensions were wavy which added to the difficulty. Liz (who is an experienced weaveologist) was clearly comfortable cutting extensions. Later when my hair fully dried I couldn’t believe how nicely my haircut came out! She had to fix the front without cutting much off because it was already short. In the back she gave it a nice layered look. With what she had to work with – there is no way she could have done it better. I highly recommend!
