I have an assortment of specialty services as well as the mainstays of manicures, pedicures, and facial waxing. I went in thinking okay… what hairstyle is she going to suggest, but left feeling empowered with what I have and how I can improve upon my already “beautiful” qualities. I discovered Shear Passion Salon & Spa recently and I couldn’t be happier with my hair! Laura is more than a hair stylist. She is an artist, designer, and a force of positive energy with an awesome sense of humor. Getting your hair cut will be an experience. The initial consultation was unlike any hair consultation I have had. Laura asks you pointed questions to truly understand who you are and what you are seeking. Be prepared to look at yourself honestly and to be educated about hair, style, design, colors, shapes, fashion industry, etc. She knows her products too but does NOT push you to purchase any or additional styling services for that matter. She’s by far the most talented and knowledgeable stylist I have had, and I used to live to NYC and had my hair done at some high-end salons. Her salon is beautifully decorated, organized and calming. She is the sole stylist and you will have the whole salon and Laura’s undivided attention to yourself. To be honest, I hesitated to write this raving review out of fear that she will become too popular. Seriously folks, she IS that good. Happy Hair to all!

Unfortunately distance prevents me from visiting the salon in person, but was happy to learn I could have a half hour consultation with Laura via zoom. I learned more in that 30 minutes than any stylist ever taught me in the last 50 years! I now feel confident I can ask for exactly what I want from my salon here at home, , and more importantly, why I want it.
