Couldn’t recommend Shear Madness enough! We are first time parents and brought our 2 year old here for her first hair cut. I was very hesitant because her hair is extremely curly. Kendra was our hair stylist and she was absolutely fantastic. From the friendliness to the employees, to the kid friendly environment. Cute place for a kids hair cut. The vehicles keep them entertained to make it an easier experience for little ones. Made appointment, helped & cut done quickly. There is a toy shop at the front, can be a pro or con depending on your situation.

We had my one year old son’s first haircut at Shear Madness in Lee’s Summit today. Our stylist Maddy did such a great job and was so patient. My son was very squirmy and fussy the whole time and the cut still turned out great! I don’t know how she managed to do it but I’m very impressed! Highly recommend! Haircut

Haircut is so different from one side to the other. Like an inch different. The left is at least 2 inches shorter than we had asked and the right is so much shorter than the left side and with a couple pieces (small sections) even shorter sticking out that were cut another inch shorter than the rest. It looks like it was cut on a diagonal, in the back, like an asymmetrical cut would be.

Amazing. Just amazing! First time I got my 1 year olds hair cut. Was extremely nervous. Upon walking in you will be surprised with the shear amount of toys that kids can play with while waiting. Immediately I was relieved. Kendra cut my son’s hair. She has the patience of mother Theresa. She did amazing work while being patient with my son’s attempt to escape the chair. Overall, amazing experience. Much love to Kendra, and ALL AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE! will be coming back for sure!

My 11 month old was not happy about getting his hair cut. Perla was so patient with his crying and was quickly able to get his hair cut. If you’re worried about your little one tolerating a hair cut, I would definitely recommend here. They have different vehicle chairs for the kids to sit in and movies for the kiddos to watch. Haircut

My kiddo loved this place so I went multiple times. The environment is kid friendly. However, the haircuts were always crooked or messy, and I could hear them complaining about tip amounts. Not professional and not a good look for a business. I recommend going elsewhere. Kids’ cuts
