Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI bought a Local Groupon for a 60 minute massage with Kendra. When I scheduled the appointment, it was around the time when businesses were being shut down for being “non-essential”. It was just a whole lot of uncertainty and DHEC guidelines such as social distancing and masks weren’t even a thing yet. Kendra had texted me one day asking if I wanted to come in the next afternoon. I agreed. However, the next afternoon, I changed my mind. She asked if I was coming and I told her I couldnt make it. This was in March. Fast forward to today, September 11th. I texted her and reminded her who I was and asked if she had an opening. She told me that since I hadn’t given 24hr notice when I cancelled, she wouldn’t accept my groupon. Even though she made the appointment less than 24hrs beforehand. She told me I’d have to also put a deposit down before she’d schedule me. Very rude. I feel she should have taken the circumstances into consideration. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable enough to get a massage here at this point. Someone who acts like that shouldn’t be in the service business. I seriously doubt she makes good money. Needless to say, I traded my Groupon for a better service elsewhere.
