Critical: Professionalism, QualityOn September 2nd I got my hair done at Shear Jazz. Mackenzie was my stylist and she was amazing. She listed to everything I wanted and gave me suggestions to do my hair.I would like to add that I wanted the picture below but the only difference I wanted was a darker red on top.While I would love to leave this salon a 5 star rating the boss ruined it. She’s rude, passive aggressive and doesn’t listen. She would keep coming around and yell at Mackenzie that what she was doing was wrong. She continued to take the tools from Mackenzie and just add random stuff in my hair. In the pictures you can see where Mackenzie started what I wanted and then the right side and middle where the boss took control and messed up. The boss didn’t listen to what I wanted, and just wanted to add an inch of red to my roots and bleach the rest.I left this salon feeling like trash and ugly because of the boss. Also, while I was there I could hear her in the back making rude comments about what I wanted and talking trash. I also think it’s rude to not only talk trash about your customers but to sit there and trash talk your stylist and yell at them in front of clients.When I left my mom called the salon about fixing my hair because it was awful. The boss proceeds to talk about how I would change my mind. (May I add again that the only difference I wanted was a darker red on top.) She(the boss) also tried to blame her stylist instead of taking responsibility. She was rude and quite unprofessional.Anyways, I went back (the same day) at 6pm the same day. Mind you I had went at 1, and didn’t go home till way past that. When I went back the boss wouldn’t listen to what was wrong with my hair. She ripped my phone from my hand and talked over me. At that point I didn’t want the boss doing my hair seeing as how she messed it up. As im trying to tell her I wanted my original stylist to do because she listed to what I wanted she was making rude comments. She would not let go of me. She also blamed her stylist to my face after I told her that she was the issue.In the end I did get mackenzie to fix my hair. I would 100% recommend Mackenzie. However, I would NEVER recommend the boss.
