She listens to what you want, then advises. Then, I took my friend Cathie to her. Below are her results. She did a terrific transformation and gave Cathie exactly what she wanted! Heidi owns the shop. I went because my friend here recommended her to me. It is tough in Lake Wales or Winter Haven to get a good stylist that does not charge $100 and up. I have short hair. I can’t say enough about how efficient and professional she is. She listens to what you want, then advises. Then, I took my friend Cathie to her. Below are her results. I called at 8:25am this morning & asked if they take appointments & Heidi (I learned later it was her) said yes & asked when I was looking at & I said today or tomorrow if possible. She asked if afternoon was okay & I said absolutely & she asked if I could be there at 2pm today, yes ma’am. I showed up a few minutes early & she took me right in. She is the FIRST stylist who EVER took the time to listen to me & she looked at my old photos to see what I wanted. I haven’t had bangs in roughly 7 years I believe & it feels amazing again! I didn’t tell her, out of embarrassment, but it has been 10-12 years since I last went to any stylist, for trust reasons. I’ve been burned too many times by others not listening to me when they washed my hair & I said they needed to pull my bangs down right away or they would curl. I came in with clean hair so Heidi didn’t need to wash it (I do believe she just knew it was clean because she’s fantastic at her job) & she just cut down the bangs to perfection. She never pushed a cut, but I asked her to trim my dead ends & she asked about framing my face and I loved the idea. Love my new hair style, especially the bangs & so do my husband & my bestie. She is so sweet, polite & feels like someone you’ve known forever. I am hopefully heading back tomorrow for a pedicure & manicure. I do believe I will start visiting her regularly & definitely sending my husband there. Thank you Heidi!P.S. NEVER FORGET TO GENEROUSLY TIP YOUR STYLIST & MANICURIST & PEDICURIST. Wow. I called at 8:25am this morning & asked if they take appointments & Heidi (I learned later it was her) said yes & asked when I was looking at & I said today or tomorrow if possible. She asked if afternoon was okay & I said absolutely & she asked if I could be there at 2pm today, yes ma’am. I showed up a few minutes early & she took me right in. Positive: Quality, ValueWent in on a whim when I needed a new hair stylist, ended up getting paired with Monica and she did a great job and communicated really well and made sure everything was A-Okay with whatever cut you go with. She also gave me advice on my eyebrow situation and advised me to let them grow out and she could wax and trim the trouble areas vs me plucking them at home. They have a very nice atmosphere and make very good use of the smaller space. All the staff are friendly and everytime I’ve been there has been some interesting conversation or something funny. Very glad I decided to try them.Otherwise, good pricing and good service. Went in on a whim when I needed a new hair stylist, ended up getting paired with Monica and she did a great job and communicated really well and made sure everything was A-Okay with whatever cut you go with.
