I cannot express how much I love and appreciate this place. Kristen has helped me fully embrace my hair, and made it more healthy and beautiful each and every time I come in. She is a hair wizard with a mastery for vivid color! The shop itself is cozy and feels like a spa. There is a cute little pup that roams around quite a bit there too that brings some calm. The continuing education of all the stylists is inspiring. I cannot recommend this place enough. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and Kristen’s work. Thank you!

I love this place. It may be a drive for me, but it is worth it. Kirsten has worked wonders on my thick curly hair, and never disappoints. She knows what she is doing, very knowledgeable and keeps you in the loop every step of the way. I am assuming that she is like this due to the continuing education they all do. The other stylists check in on your progress, and can tell that it’s an environment of women empowering women with encouragement. I love this place!

Absolutely fantastic salon! Paula has been taking care of my hair for over two decades! I moved away and had to try other salons with no luck. So now I travel, sometimes hundreds of miles, to come back to Paula because I don’t trust anybody else with my hair. She knows me and she knows my hair! Truly amazing experience every time!

One of the best hair salon in the area. Very friendly and talented staff. And very reasonable prices. Besides haircuts, Shear Illusions offers manicure and pedicure but I cannot comment on this service as I never had it done.
