This salon is everything – it’s beautifully and freshly designed. The staff is inviting and kind. I’ve trusted my hair to Mary for over ten years and even after moving to a new location, I have followed her because she does my thick hair justice. She also did an amazing job with my gf’s hair which is extremely curly. Nothing she can’t do and always fairly priced. Check out this salon if you love your hair and yourself!

Awesome atmosphere, very relaxing and chill. Great music. Most importantly, the stylists are so accommodating and they put in maximum effort to make their clients happy. Janine is my stylist & I can’t say enough about how talented she is and what a wonderful person she is. She will stop at nothing to make sure you love your hair and she’s the sweetest ever! I am extremely impressed!!! I will definitely be going to Shear Glam Salon from now on. My stylist Mary nailed the hair style that i wanted! I have gone to so many salons and so many hair stylists looking for the right person who can get the hair style that i want just right, and i finally found her! I am so happy right now i love my hair. AND i was amazed as soon as i walked into the salon. The decor is beautiful! They have these really big and amazing mirrors around the room that are metalic grey and and glittery around the borders. And the chandeliers that they have on the ceilings are seriously so cool. Another favorite part was the experience that I had while getting my hair washed! I have NEVER had a good experience before when it comes to getting my hair washed at a salon. It always hurts my neck and they get water all over my face, it sucks . lol but this experience at Shear Glam was perfect! They have these super cool bowls that adjust and move around to your comfort. I barely had to tilt my head back and she still didnt get any water in my face! I was comfortable and relaxed. It was a great experience! I highly suggest to anyone whos looking for a new hair salon check out Shear Glam Salon at 9200 s Harlem Ave. In Hickory hills. I personally had Mary and loved her, but i know theyre all experienced hair stylists.

Absolutely love Janine, been going with her about 13 years and counting.. she is very helpful and gives her honest opinion. Shear glam is a beautiful facility, clean and welcoming. I have not had the pleasure of having my hair cut with the other 2 employees but I truly believe they do great work and helpful! Best place to receive service

Very clean, updated, and friendly salon! Been seeing Janine for my hair for 9 years now. I’ve done everything from a basic root touch up to a full foil ( I have ridiculously thick long hair), to fashion colors, and even waxing and deep conditioning treatments. She never fails me! Pre book your appts! They book up fast!
