I just tried this place out today for a haircut (that I was in desperate need of) I called and they got me in right away. Bernese was my stylist, she was lovely. I showed her 2 pictures and she knew exactly what I wanted. The whole experience was so relaxing, she was very gentle with my fine hair. The cut was perfect, even better than my expectations. Shear Envy has been my salon for 3+ years now. Most of their stylist are extremely knowledgeable and experts in hair. My favorite stylist is Jackie and Hector. Most of my hair treatments and services have been with Jackie because of her years of experience with curly hair. I wanted to transition from black curls to blonde without damaging my hair. And as you see Jackie has helped me maintain my hair, healthy and strong. I love her, and I love Anne the owner/CEO because they truly devote your whole experience of self care or make over, as a relaxing and well rewarding experience. My partner, my 4 year-old, my 2 year-old, and I got a haircut here. Molly cut my hair and helped me decide the style of my bob. She was very patient and helped me prepare my hair for my hair donation. I was a bit nervous because I have never cut my air so short and with bangs but I felt comfortable with Molly and entire staff. The mimosa also helped The owner Anne and staff were welcoming and professional. ❤️ I felt like at home. My 2 year-old was crying for his entire haircut but Molly was super patient and sweet with him. It was also my 4 year-old daughter’s first haircut and she felt comfortable with Shelly and wants to go back with her. We all loved, loved, loved our haircut. If you’re considering different places, try this one. You won’t regret it. If you feel something isn’t as you wished, they go out of their way to make sure they fix it and make you happy with your hair style.

I get my hair done at this shop but I never tried their nail technicians until today. I am so tired of going to get my nails done and feeling like I’m on an assembly line and I pick a number and they’re done within 20 minutes. These nail salons do not add that little extra touch that makes it more intimate. It’s more about making money than keeping clients. There are two sisters that are the nail technicians. Not only are they professional and provide that extra Personal Touch, they are absolutely a hoot to be around. My toes and my fingers look absolutely beautiful. They were kind- but that doesn’t cut it. First time I went here to have my moneypiece and underlayer retouched (bleached, sort of light blonde), Hector did a really good job. I loved it. Then I came back in around November to have it retouched again, but I was helped by another stylist. This is where things went really wrong. She wasn’t able to lift my hair to the same level and toned it which made it a purple-brown color. When I calmly said I wasn’t happy with my hair they were super nice about it and let me schedule a different appointment to have it corrected- free of charge. I came in to have it corrected, but then the result was a blue-ish purple-ish gray tone. They told me it’ll wash out and and be more blonde after a few washes. It didn’t. Now my hair is a teal-aquamarine color, I have purple roots on my moneypiece, and there is so much brown-gold in my hair. I am extremely unhappy with it. The manager Anne was kind enough to tell me to call her and update her and if i’m unhappy I come in and they’ll gloss it. But I am no longer interested in wasting my time with them. They were kind, but kind doesn’t cut it. It’s kind of their job to know what to do to my hair to correct it. It just doesn’t make sense to me how it was perfect the first time but turned out so bad the second time.

After reading all the great reviews of Shear Envy I had to try it for myself. I had a consultation with Glenda, she was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and professional. We agreed on a balayage and haircut. I already had a previous color and I didn’t like how my ends were dry looking, she suggested a reddish/copper color that I always wanted to do but never did.
