I have for a long time hated my hair, it’s fine and always looked drab. But since Candace has been cutting, styling and coloring/highlighting my hair I am doing my hair daily and have not gotten more compliments on my hair than in years. First of all she as a person is awesome. We have great chats and I thoroughly enjoy her company when getting my hair done. Her skill and her attention to detail is what keeps me in her chair and going back. She is honest and upfront about what she thinks will be best and does what she can to be sure I leave happy. Once I got to know her I have said “do what you want”. She’s given me amazing color although we both decided highlights specifically bayalge is better and she has perfected the precise blond on my hair, and she does so that I don’t have roots that make me need to race to get my hair done again weeks later like in past with other hair stylists. Candace has on more than one occasion styled my hair for an event and it looked perfect, exactly as I hoped from describing it and never over done – always the look I’m going for.

I’ve been through Ridgewood and Glen Rock to various places, but left feeling overcharged, with underperformance. Well, today that all changed. I have found my spot. I was a walk in with Lisa, for color and a cut. What a wonderful experience. I left feeling like a rock star, with a great cut, and phenomenal color. I now have my hair place, after searching for all these years. Can’t wait to go back.

This was my second visit to this salon, people at my work recommended and I went, she did a decent job the first time. Then I went today the second time, last time I got the balayage done and this time I got partial highlights since i have long hair so I had color from my last balyage intact so to get the roots touched I decided to get partial highlights. She charged me $130 for the balyage first time however she never glazed my hair and my hair got too dry and curly which I didn’t realise happened because of color and this is not the first time I got my hair colored, so i asked since these are going to be partial highlights would it be cheaper she said no it should be the same. I was ok with that, then she mixed the color and applied to my hair. When we washed, the color on the roots was a different color which she also agreed to and said that she would glaze the color again to correct HER OWN mistake. She herself agreed that she should have not made a color this light. Then she washed and blow dried my hair and comes the time of payment- she charged me $225 dollars saying she had to use extra product! really???? She used it to fix her own mistake and charged me for that saying last time i glazed your hair and didnt charge anything well she never glazed my hair last time and did not agree to it and wanted to pick up an argument with me but I didnt get into that discussion with her!!beware!! Please pray before going that she doesnt make a mistake because that is going to cost U MONEY…
