I’ve been looking for a fun funky hair salon and I really was running out of hope in the brattleboro area. Finally found a referral online for Shear Designs and gave it a whirl. I explained that I don’t style my hair, so I need something easy to manage and that can be put into a pony tail easy. They delivered! It’s a huge difference from what I looked like previously and my hair has bounce and flow!

Great atmosphere and very happy with how my hair turned out. Most of the staff is younger women, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but if you want a stylist with 20+ years experience go with Joy, the owner. I definitely will go back!

I went in to get my roots done and it just wasn’t a good experience. My roots ended up being double processed and it has resulted to a lot of breakage. The staff person “in charge” was rude and ended up yanking on my hair and saying I had no reason to be upset.
