When I left the salon I thought I had a nice short hair cut, then I got home and looked closely. I will not be returning! I found hair in the top and crown that was chopped off an inch shorter than the rest of the hair, the hair in front of my ears, like sideburns, were obviously uneven as was the back. Sorry Maggie, you’re very nice, but I’m not convinced about your hair cutting skills.

I’d never had them before, and I wasn’t sure about getting them, but I loved them when Maggie was finished. I have alopecia, and I had told Maggie about it at my daughter’s first visit, so she cut my hair and highlighted it according to the way I part my hair to cover a larger bald spot. It meant so much that she remembered that and took the initiative to make me feel good about my hair when I had spent years to to make it less noticeable because of my bald patches. I am also not very outgoing, and I tend to be quiet with new people. Maggie made me feel very comfortable and is really easy to talk to. She remembers things we talk about from visit to visit, and that just shows how much she cares about her clients. This place is great! Staff is friendly and helpful. I have had Brittany take care of my hair a few times and she gave me exactly what I asked for, took time to look at the reference photos and was very gentle. They accept walk ins which is always nice although sometimes there’s no time available if you walk in. I do wish it was a bit more diverse in clientele as well as employees but unfortunately Carroll county itself is not very diverse so I’m sure they wish the same. The prices are very reasonable and they ask that you leave tips either in cash or on a money sharing app like venmo as a gift.
