I appreciate the students who did my hair. They did a great job especially since I hadn’t had a silk press done since last year. Both of the stylists were very nice and personable. I felt very relaxed while I was being serviced. It is not as silky as I was hoping it would be but I think that is probably due to the fact that my hair isn’t heat trained. Hopefully once I get into the habit of getting my hair pressed than once a year my hair will be better trained. However my hair is definitely softer this go around. Gonna have to get some of that shampoo and conditioner they used.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueBefore coming to this salon my hair was dry and very damage but after coming to this salon my hair is healthy and have grown tremendously. I’m happy to find someone that really care about the health of my hair. When I arrive for my appointments the wait time is usually one or two minutes which I love. The salon is always clean, very friendly staff and my stylist Shanika is the best at what she does. Before coming to this salon my hair was dry and very damage but after coming to this salon my hair is healthy and have grown tremendously. I’m happy to find someone that really care about the health of my hair. When I arrive for my appointments the wait time is usually one or two minutes which I love. I had a full sew in with closure done yesterday by Aniya. Issue #1 My appointment was at 11:45am. When I checked in there was already another client she was working on that she had recently started. What’s the point of an appointment then?! #2 My sew in is horrible. The braids are not laid down properly so my straight hair does not lay down flat. I didn’t notice it in the salon because it had been curled, to hide the the obvious?! Once I got home and really looked at my hair I could see what a poor job had been done. I immediately sent a message to them and a picture showing that the hair doesn’t lay down flat. I was told to call this morning at 9am and speak to Mrs. Brown who is the manager. Not only was she of no help she questioned why I didn’t notice it in the salon. I was told I was going to get a call back but have yet to receive one. I spent $175 and left a $25 tip. POOR SERVICE all the way around, steer clear and go elsewhere!

I moved to the area recently from Charlotte, NC. I struggled to find a stylist in Myrtle Beach! I chased down a woman whose hair looked amazing and she shared the name of her stylist. Shaneka has been doing my hair ever since!!! My hair is healthy and growing. The salon is very well maintained, offers free WI-FI, rolling desks for working professionals to use their laptops, and complimentary soft drinks and water. I am happy I found this salon that offers a variety of services!
