Let’s start by saying that my locs were in a devastated state of being before seeing Shawn. I went from a not having my hair retwisted for two months to having neat and pretty locs again. All the while he was very gentle and patient, Shawn exudes excellence in all that he does. First, his shop is a vibe and he is warm hearted he makes you feel comfortable and unjudged. I have 4c texture hair, so I’m always worried about what the stylist will think while maintaining my mane. Second, he let me come early to my appointment upon his free will because he had a little bit of free time( every other stylist that I have encountered are mean about coming at the time that you booked, no judgement at all, it’s just Shawn is more understanding and compassionate about appointments.) Thirdly, he uses all natural made products! My hair does not feel stiff or hard. My hair feels mosturized and smells great! Some stylist just style for fashion,but it’s different when they nurture the hair for growth and for it to be at it’s prime. Shawn definitely cares for the nutrition and growth, but also a great style. I definitely recommend that you look into booking him if you need help with your locs.
