Dr. Sayyida is the founder of the Shawishi Skincare Collection and is based in Memphis, Tennessee. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and completed her fellowship training in Cosmetic & Aesthetic Medicine with specialty focus on ethnic skin. “After years of treating patients struggling with skin conditions like hyperpigmentation, acne & textural issues on a quest for clearer, even-toned skin, I felt called to create the Shawishi Skincare Collection to help my patients achieve those goals via professional strength skincare. I live in the UK so have not been into the medical center but, I have used the Shawishi Skincare line, after trying the Discovery Ritual Set I can honestly say my skin appears a lot brighter and Dr Sayyida is very giving with her advice. These products are strong, in a good way but a little bit really goes a long way and after a couple weeks of consistent use my skin is much brighter. Thank you so much.

I came across Memphis Center for Aesthetic Medicine a few years ago when I was browsing online for a skincare specialist/esthetician/dermatologist who knew how to treat Black people’s skin. I came in for a consultation and Dr. Salaam made me feel very welcome and explained so much about what was going on with my skin at the time. Before I moved, I LOVED the regimen Dr. Salaam started me on and I noticed drastic, positive changes in my skin. From my chemical peel treatments to dermaplaning, I really enjoyed the time and care that her and the staff took to provide excellent skincare services. I still purchase products from the Shawishi collection and will continue to!

Dr. Salaam and staff are amazing!!! They made me feel like they cared about me. Dr. Salaam does such a great job with PRP. I have seen excellent results and I’m really pleased. If you can’t get a hold of them…just leave a message. I know they are busy sometimes but they get back to you.

This was a terrible experience!! I do not recommend the micro-needing treatment. However, if you want to try it and finance it thru the doctor’s office, only finance ONE treatment. Or, pay for the first treatment before you finance the additional treatments. The office will let you finance 6 treatments in advance and if you decide to not do the other treatments, doctor WILL NOT refund the additional money not used!!! Please go somewhere where you will find integrity and morals.

This place has the worst customer service ever. The secretary do not know how to schedule an appointment. They take your money for an appointment and dont even tell you it is nonrefundable. I show up for my appointment and the place is close. I ask for my money back and they refuse to give my money back for an appointment they schedule me for and they was not open. Please do not waist your time with this place.
