I go where the youngest master barber of Delaware #Dela goes. Lovely spot out here repping Hair Kings, some of the best barbers nationwide. Everyone seems very welcoming and the place is very clean. It’s located in the shopping center centered between ACME and GOODWILL, right beside Concord Pet Food and Supply store.

I woke up and felt like I needed a change. Where I typically go could not take me. They happened to have a cancellation here. Stephen (Notty) was able to squeeze me in. While he was not used to cutting a woman’s hair he got creative and I left feeling great with my new creative style. He’s a great guy and so accommodating. I am already scheduled in 5 weeks for a follow up cut. Highly recommend him.

Terrible service by BRIAN(Chair closest to the entrance on your right) I have never been mistreated as a customer by a barber this way ever. He showed up an hour late to an appointment AFTER scolding me for being 10 mins late. He also wanted me to pay a “no show/late fee”($35) plus an “after hours” fee at 4:30pm ($60) on top of my normal priced haircut of $50. When I refused and wrote my review on the Booksy app, I was later harassed and insulted via text message about expressing my personal experience . This was a uper unprofessional, and just another barber trying to squeeze money out of clients. It’s a beautiful shop, friendly/clean environment, I just wish I chose a different barber.

Critical: ProfessionalismI called this barbershop to request an appointment for my son for his first barbershop experience, just before his second birthday. I was not given an appointment. I was told, by Dre, to just bring him in the next day and he would be taken care of. I arrived and spoke to the same man, Dre, who told me to just bring him in. He said that he would have someone take care of my son. There were 4 or 5 barbers cutting. I sat for over an hour; which I wouldn’t complain about, except for the fact that SEVERAL people came in after us and my son was, repeatedly, skipped. Dre told me 2-3 times that someone would take of my son, but no one did. I watched one barber go outside and wait for another client to arrive and he put that man in the chair right away. I saw something on google stating that this barbershop is top notch and people don’t understand the concept of appointments. I ASKED FOR AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY WOULDN’T GIVE ME ONE and then this happened. I am highly disappointed and very frustrated with the treatment I received. The barbershop is an experience for a male, from childhood to manhood. I’m upset that this was my son’s first experience. In addition to that, I am married and a mother of five. I’ve been to other barbershops where the children are spoken to and loved on by everyone who works there (an experience). No one even acknowledged my son. This is yet another problem within our community. Needless to say, walked out with no haircut. I booked an appointment for 2pm and no one checked as I sat here for 30 minutes watching while they took others for cuts while I sat unattended. It’s currently 226. I got here at 145pm. Haircut

This barbershop is top notch. I have read reviews, and noticed that the lower ratings come from people whom do not understand the concept of appointments. Most of them have customers whom are on a schedule. If a barber has a 9:00 appointment, and you show up at 8:50, they’re not going to offer to cut your hair, because it will conflict with their appointment. It would appear that one would understand, that they need to cut hair to pay for their chair, and pay bills!!! Letting you walk out of the door does in no way help accomplish either of those task!!! I would suggest to anyone whom is contemplating on going to this establishment to call and make an appointment. You will find it is worth a two minute call to save you time and frustration!!! My barber is Jamar, and I have absolutely no complaints!!! He cuts my hair, and 3 of my sons in one appointment!!!

Shannon is awesome with my 5 yr old grandson. Makes him look neat and clean…and talks to him like a little man. Barbers here are cool dudes and they know how to cut hair…well. Neat shop. Always a pleasure to visit.

Dre made my first experience in a barber shop a very comfortable and pleasant experience. He was the only one who greeted me when I first walked in. He was very patient and waited for me to run to the bank because as I mentioned, this was my first experience so I didn’t know I needed cash. To top everything off, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he mastered it. I’m so glad I went to him and I’m sure he’ll see me again.

Love the haircut I got here. I have a unique style and the barbers are very skilled. They are also very talkative and friendly so the time in the chair goes by fast. Make sure you have cash on hand, because these guys are worth every penny.

I told my son never to go back to this place. He went to get a haircut and waited 3 to 4 hour for the cut. He was the last person and the barbers took forever on the last two customers just before him avoiding him as the last customer. People will come in and they will stop to talk to the people while they were doing the last two cuts. Poor customer service for a black owned establishment. I would suggest if you need to cut don’t be the last or find another place.
