Beyond frustrated!!! We had an appointment for this location at 11 am for my two year old. He has never had a haircut before and didn’t want one until we finally convinced him to do it. We got him so excited for his haircut and amped him up for weeks before this appointment only for him to become frustrated and disappointed. We arrived at the store and at 11am not a single person arrived to open the store. We sat in the Florida heat waiting until 1130 and yet no one was inside the store or opening. Another family came that also had an appointment and waited yet no workers arrived. Sitting out in the 96 degree humid heat for thirty minutes we had to convince our son to leave after getting him so excited all week and him seeing the stuffed shark inside and fire truck seat. Extremely mad!!! No answer on the phone either we are so glad we spent our morning driving to this specific facility 45 minutes away from home sat in traffic just to stand outside of an empty store for 30 minutes with no notice of cancelation, explanation, or way to reach someone. Thanks for wasting our morning and time and a toddler that now doesn’t want to get his hair cut we truly appreciate it!

Love this place, and followed Lyndsey Rios from another salon as she moved to this one! She is the absolute best. She has been cutting my son and daughter’s hair for the past 4 years. She is patient, sweet, professional, and cut both boys and girls hair beautifully. She knows how to do a fade blending so well and cut girls hair so pretty.

We used to go to Pigtails and Crewcuts but they were always very busy and sometimes a little snobby compared to this place. I find the prices more affordable and my daughter enjoys the experience a lot more. They give her a free balloon, lollipop, and ring and she leaves looking cuter and happier than ever! Highly recommend! Thanks for making my little girl’s day every time!

My son has been there 3 times already. We have always been happy with his cuts. Chelsea did the most recent cut and it is our favorite yet. She is very good, especially with a very wiggly toddler.

It’s over price. For just my 3 year old hair cut it’s 29$ I’ve been to another Kids hair places that charges 20-25$ which is more appropriate it. The hairdresser we had was dry. Overhead other hairdressers and they seem in a better mood.

If you’re particular about your kids haircut, I suggest going elsewhere. While customer service and price for quick cut is great, skill isn’t, unfortunately. I’ve gone twice and I feel so bad for my daughter twice now. I got the same stylist after booking the appts online. I won’t name names to protect their livelihood. Obviously, it’s not a problem for my child who is oblivious and would much rather I stop looking and touching and trying to fix her hair to hide the mistakes, but there’s visible errors made on her bangs. It’s uneven and unsightly. Needless to say, it’s noticeable and even if I find myself in a time and financial crunch, I won’t go back to Sharkey’s.

I made an appointment for October 6 with Chelsea and it was canceled the day before for October 7 with Klhoe. When we get there I tell Khloe that it was the first time my child was at a salon, I also told her that he’s a 3 year old nonverbal with Autism and he doesn’t follow or understands directions or commands and that I wasn’t too sure on how he was going to handle this new experience for him ( we always performed haircuts at home ) but for my surprise he did great for his first time at the salon, it must have been the ambience since it’s so kid friendly. On the other hand I think the lady didn’t understand what I told her because she was trying to tell him what to do like tilt your head, don’t move and get up and of course he didn’t do any of those because he just doesn’t understand but I let her keep doing her work. I honestly didn’t like too much the hair cut he received that day, no wash was performed, his forehead didn’t get edged up, his hair didn’t get styled after the cut, when I paid the service she asked for a tip which I was going to give anyways because I’m a huge believer of tips but it shouldn’t be asked for. Also no balloon or lollipop was given. For the kind of money I’m paying for a kid haircut I feel like the job was halfway done. Two weeks after I decide to give the salon another chance and I booked for today 10/22/22 with Diana. I get there early and they took me right in. The haircut was much better but once again no wash, his forehead didn’t get edged up or no style after the haircut. I did asked her to please edge up his forehead after she told me she was done which she did but once again with the kind of money I’m paying I shouldn’t ask for something that should be taken care of since that area is part of the hair cut Services. Again no ballon or lollipop was given and once again I was asked for a tip. I feel like I’m better off going to a regular barber shop since I most likely get better quality in a haircut for less money. I really love how the place looks and how child friendly it is but it’s really not worth the price for the service given. I don’t mind paying for quality but I feel like I did not received it. Service is very quickly so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with this issues. I wasn’t there for more than 20 minutes today. I will be doing business somewhere else

Place was clean and organized. I made a reservation online . When I got there they seated my child quickly. Very entertaining for the kids. Theu have TV’s in every station with any request of channel . Music was fun as well. The seats are awsome with different themes like firetruck and racecar.The haircut was good. They also have teen section to play playstation while getting a cut. Girls section is super cute with a nails section too. Overall great place if you want your kiddo to be still and entertained while getting a haircut. In the end they give kids a ballon which is nice.
