Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Fleming Island is a larger-than-life salon where its customers receive much more than a great haircut, they gain a fun, memorable experience. This is what a $30 haircut looks like from there. They also did not do even half the services that they advertised for the price. All they did was cut her hair, she did not get a wash, dry, style, etc. The young girl cutting my daughters hair had the worst attitude and when I told her my daughter wanted her hair cut shorter, she gave me an attitude and told me she would go back and take a little bit off when she was done. Well, next thing I know my daughter is out of the chair and she never went back and cut it. Not a good experience at all.

My daughter is so in love every time we go to Sharkey’s and as always she requests Mrs. Jessica and Mrs. Jessica only lol. But Everyone there is a pleasure to speak with with just adore Jessica. My daughter ALWAYS leaves the salon feeling like a rock star plus she gets her nails done some dip n dots and a ballon. Did I mention she gets to sit in cool car!!!

Walked in on a Saturday morning without an appointment and they were able to fit my kiddo in. Everyone was super friendly to him and made him (and me!) feel comfortable and at ease. Sasha, his stylist, did a great job with his cut and checked in with me frequently to make sure it was in keeping with what I wanted. They’re not cheap, but they offer SO MUCH to keep kids comfortable and distracted during a cut. Highly recommend this place for the young ones.

I will never take my kids to another place for a haircut. This place is a hidden gem I heard about this place from a friend, but I didn’t even realize a place like this existed. My 1yr old had her first haircut sitting in an electric car watching cocomelon and my 9 yr old played fortnight while she got hers cut AND baby got her nails painted and it was not a dollar more expensive than the hair cuttery. Really doesn’t get any better for a kids cut experience. I tell all my mom friends about this place now!

The staff is wonderful! All three of my children were very comfortable. And only one was getting their haircut. Sarah was very sweet and patient and excellent at communicating with my son. His hair came out exactly how he wanted! Sonia or Sonya (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) did a wonderful job at making my girls feel at home while they waited. She spoke to us all like we were old friends. She was also very informative & thorough in explaining the services they offer & details about their membership. My sons review “Super cool!!”

Our son has sensory issues and does not like getting hair cuts. We showed up for his appointment and were greeted promptly even though it was very busy. Our son was obviously stressed at everything going on so we rescheduled to a weekday and gave us the last time slot for the day to try and make our experience as comfortable as possible. We arrived early and the store was empty, which was a relief. Sarah and Hannah were calm, kind, and very thorough and gave our son a great haircut. We’ll be back for the next one.

I brought my 4 yr old daughter here for her first hair cut. We had Hannah, who was so great. My daughter is extremely shy and uncomfortable around strangers, it took her about 10 mins before she would lay her head in the sink for a hair wash, but the whole time Hannah quietly stood back and let my daughter get comfortable on her own. She didn’t get frustrated, she didn’t try to get involved, which some people do and that makes it worse. Once she got her hair washed it was smooth sailing. Hannah cut my daughter’s hair exactly where she wanted & gave her a cute little mani. My baby loves her hair so much, we’ll definitely be back!
