Sharkey’s is amazing, they give the kids an awesome experience, I’ve been struggling with my 3yr old in allowing himself to get a haircut he would not let anyone come near him until we met Tina at Sharkey’s she made him comfortable and had so much patience with him, also I loved how they definitely work as a team because Carol was amazing also. Loved it definitely recommend. The place looks awesome as well. Can’t wait to take my little girl to her first princess glam!

I took my son for his first haircut today! All I can say it was fantastic! It was a great atmosphere for babies, toddlers and kids. The stylists was so patient and kind. She asked how we liked his hair throughout the whole process. It’s really nice having a kid hair place on this side of town.

The staff was so incredibly kind and my children had a wonderful experience. However, unfortunately their haircuts were quite bad. We actually came home and buzzed their hair short and will not be returning. I expected a very precise and professional boys cut considering the price was $30 per child and then we tipped on top of that. My boys are experienced at getting their haircut, since 6 months old. So, them moving around or any other excuse isn’t the reason for the bad cut.

We were loyal Sharkey’s Avondale customers until today. My daughter had an appointment for 11:10am. The woman at the front desk put my daughter in a chair and asked if she wanted her nails done. I said no thank you, we don’t have time for that, we just need the haircut. The stylist next to us said in a very rude tone, “Well, it’s gonna be awhile.” I said, “We have an appointment.” In a very confrontational tone, she said, “I understand that, but it’s just me & her here today.”

They did amazing with my 4 year old autistic son who absolutely hates haircuts. It is a battle to say the least. They did not act inconvenienced or annoyed in the slightest even while he fought and screamed the whole time. Everyone was so understanding and considerate, and considering the fight he put up he still left with a great haircut.
