So we provide it all: a superior haircut with warm, experienced stylists in a meticulously clean place filled with fun! Children can sit in a Dodge Police Cruiser, Barbie Jeep, Lightning McQueen Race Car, Buzz Light Year Vehicle, Hummer, #8 Dale Earnhardt NASCAR Race Car, and/or Mini Cooper while watching their favorite cartoons or Netflix! Older kids will love the chance to play Playstation 4 or X-box 1 40″ screens while getting their haircut! Or just watch their favorite sporting events or music concerts through Satellite TV!

We usually go to a different location, but decided to try this one. Extremely disappointed. When we walked in the hairdressers were in the back chatting and barley greeted us. One was extremely soft spoken and barely said anything to me or my family. I believe her name was Ethiopia. My youngest (2.5) got a decent haircut by Sumuria. However, Ethiopia completely butchered my 4 year olds hair. We asked for a trim, to not take a lot off. She didn’t listen. It’s short, uneven, and he was so sad when he left. The whole way home he cried saying how much he didn’t like his haircut. She barely talked to him instead just jerked his head around to try and keep him still. He was afraid of the buzzer and I told her to use scissors but she didn’t listen. He’s squirmy but other places have been so kind to him and talked to him to try and make him feel better. Picture day is this week and now we have to spend more money somewhere else to fix it. Will never return or recommend to anyone. Will be calling to talk to manager or owner to ask for a refund.

Went there for my 3 year old daughter’s first haircut. She was so excited and scared at the same time! We were the only customers during our visit. Upon entering the place we were not greeted, just asked what we want. I explained that I want a haircut for my girl and this is her first haircut ever. So the receptionist said ok girls haircut and just selected the service on the screen instead of me. The gentleman who cut her hair said he was doing this for 30 years but even I would have done a better job than him. Her hair was never washed, when combing her hair, he was pulling so hard she was begging me to pick her up and leave. The haircut itself took a minute and was so uneven I had to say something to him. He attempted to fix it but no luck (doing it for 30 years really?!). All done he said. What about a blow dry I asked. Well if you want to I can do it! Really?! Thought it comes with the service … He spent probably 2 minutes blow drying her ends and left the roots and the rest of her hair wet. Came to your website after the fact to realize that the service supposedly comes with a wash, blow-dry, lollipop, ballon, mini-cure, etc. We were not offered any of that, just a 2 minute uneven cut that costed us $31. The staff was not friendly and did not make this a memorable and a positive experience for my little girl. The novelty chairs are the only good thing about this place.

Had a terrible experience here for my kid’s haircut . Not sure who is the styling professional either me or the person who is doing here. I asked them to do the girls haircut but they told like “whatever you ask me to do I ll do that’s it”. How come I know the nuances of cutting ? Also every time I go there my kid used to have free nail paint and she used to choose as many colors as she wants. This receptionist over there were little harsh on my kid that no no no only one color is allowed not too many . Also they didn’t give balloons or rings . I know this is not important. But as a kid she expected these things. On the whole such a horrible uneven haircut and miserable experience. This time would be the last time I visited this place.

Great atmosphere for my 7 year old. Haircut was spot on for his new “soccer” cut. New owner is trending in the right direction. Staff is friendly and interactive! Recommend for sure!

Great place to take a kid with special needs and doesn’t like haircuts. A little more expensive then a normal haircuttery but it is worth the extra when you got a kid screaming and they can still cut the kids hair.

He asked us to pay before we even got the servic.And then he didn’t take the time to listen to what I asked for!!Not only did he ignore my request to not cut the hair too short (we extra had it grown out for that) but then chopped up all of the edges completely too!!And that for $34!!!!This place extremely expensive, but also extremely sloppy and unprofessional!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!My toddler was holding completely still the entire time – the hair cutter was simply sloppy and paid no attention to the cut NOR our wishes.Never again. Our son (13 months) had his first haircut at a nearby barber shop, but my wife wanted to him a better experience associating good vibes with a haircut. Sharkey’s was exactly that! We walked in right as they opened on a Saturday without realizing we needed an appointment. We waited until the others who had one, were checked in. Shortly after, we were squeezed in. My son chose the sporty Corvette chair, and the tiny kid aprons were the perfect length. They have TVs above each chair and access to YouTube kids shows, Netflix, whatever tickles your fancy. The back half of the shop was for “bigger” kids who had a larger chair and access to Xbox games and other forms of TV.

We went to Sharkey’s for my sons first haircut at 18months old. They were great and very patient with him. He sat on my husband’s lap for the cut and not a single tear was shed. Hang was great! The place was clean, very colorful, and had lots of things for the kiddos to look at and play with. They even had game systems for the older kids. They saved a lock of his hair and gave him a first hair cut certificate, which is super cute. We will definitely be going back!
