The look of the place is pretty cool and kid-friendly. But the workers specifically Chryslyn are not friendly at all. We took our son here for his 1st haircut and the lady (Chrysler) did not even talk or show any interest to make our son or us feel welcomed or excited, didn’t even say hi. As she is cutting his hair she said, we can’t do too much because his hair is curly. At that point I am just couldn’t believe that she is a children’s hair stylist let alone a hair stylist.That is absolutely rude! A the end of the haircut we were supposed to receive a certificate, some of his hair and a picture. We received a blank certificate that she made us fill out with some hair clippings in a plastic bag. At checkout Cryslyn said her camera wasn’t working and we would not get a picture. I am not sure why she didn’t tell us this in the beginning with the countless email and texts I received to confirm the appointment. I asked her to take one on our phone and she said she couldn’t hook our phone up to her station. All we wanted was a picture on our phone for the least. Instead of apologizing or giving us some money off for $36 “Baby’s 1st Haircut” she just told us it didn’t work and she couldn’t even take a picture on our phone. I am highly disappointed in the treatment/service here. For a special milestone she ruined it. We will not be back.

We went here for the past 2 years. Our stylist,Marleny left,so we decided to give the new stylist a try… Mistake!!!! My son’s hair is butchered into a bowl cut, which at 12, is not cool. Not the haircut I asked for. The stylist happens to be the manager, so no use in complaining. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

I never write reviews for a bad experience but I will never bring my child back here. My husband brought my son for a 10am haircut, arriving at 10:02 … 2 minutes late which the guy behind the desk said no problem. The hairstylist was cutting someone’s hair and told my husband she would be right with my son and take a seat. There was nobody else waiting. As my husband and son are sitting in the chair waiting for their turn, the stylist finishes up her other client and then proceeds to start cutting the hair of someone who just walked in. My husband asked the guy behind the desk what time my son’s appointment was thinking maybe we mixed up the time since the stylist took the person that just walked in before them. The guy behind the desk said your appointment was at 10 and theirs was 1030 but they were early so that’s why they went first. My husband said I watched them walk in after we had already been here waiting in the chair. The guys behind the desk proceeded to get nasty with my husband and told him well you were late .. (2 minutes late.. I know because he texted me when they sat down). The guy behind the counter continued to be nasty with my husband saying he would just have to wait. I could totally understand if my husband showed up 10-15 minutes late and someone was already there waiting.. I get that. But to be 2 minutes late and then proceed to be nasty to my husband in front on my son that’s just unacceptable to me.

My son came home and you couldn’t even tell he had a haircut. We made a second appointment and were a few minutes late due to parking and they said we would have to make another appointment. We used to like Sharkey’s but that’s not how you treat customers. They have lost my business.

Such a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and GENUINELY nice to the kids. My daughter got a super cool feather extension and lots of glitter hair spray which made her feel so special. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The haircut was okay but the experience was not good. Not worth $32 at all. They cut my son’s ear and didn’t even apologize. They blamed it on the buzzer. We understand that he’s a little kid and moves around and this may happen but they didn’t even say sorry for cutting his ear. The asian lady stylist we had last time was so much better. She actually was playful with my kid and calmed him down by showing him the buzzer and letting him feel the vibration of it before she started. The lady we had today showed none of that. The first time we were there we had an appointment at a certain time and they were calling me nonstop while i was parking 5 min before my appointment to see if i was coming and i was like yes i am parking, then when we got there, they made us wait 20min+. What was the point of blowing up my phone if you are going to make us wait another 20min.??? We will never go back here again. Horrible place for a kids haircut. They need to rethink their staff!

Critical: QualityWe had an appointment at 4 30 and got there 5 ish minutes early, we were waiting forever even tho they put our toddler in the car ready for the haircut, the haircut lady was super upset and keep yelling at the woman at the front desk, it looked like she was training her and meanwhile we were waiting for the haircut she just keep yelling at the other poor girl. Once the haircut started we were asked to put our toddler a mask that got full of hair and uncomfortable ok whatever, funny she didn’t ask for the mask for the first five minutes of the haircut or the other 20 we were waiting there . She keep being upset at the front desk woman, overall she was upset giving the haircut and the bad energy was in the air, she keep pushing my sons head down and almost yelling at him. Very disappointed with the attitude with the woman at the front desk and with us, to make us wait like that for 20 minutes and with that bad mood it just made the experience terrible for our son. Great place! My daughters (8,5, and 3) all got the “Girl’s Haircut” yesterday, which included their haircuts and manicures, among other things. Their haircuts were adorable and they had a great time getting them! The store itself was clean and fun. The stylists were friendly and competent. My kids already requested that we go there for their next haircuts! Highly recommend!
