Refused to honor a gift certificate I paid $65 for in an auction, claiming her “prices have gone up to $80.” I offered to pay the difference, but she refused to use the $65 as credit towards the services I’d already paid for, claiming “all my gift certificates expire after one year”, even though a) this is not stated anywhere on the certificate, and b) gift certificates don’t expire in CA. Unhelpful, accusatory, and rude.

I started going to Shanna 4 years ago on a recommendation from a friend and I’m so glad I switched to her! She’s the best! She does twice the amount of foils as my old stylist and somehow gets the color right down to the scalp. There are never any streaks or roots showing. Her skill level is amazing and she actually spends time making sure it’s right. She doesn’t overlap clients or overbook and I’ve never felt like she was rushing to get me done. I would give her more stars if I could!

Love Shanna! Friends and strangers constantly ask me where I get my hair done, and I am happy to send them Shanna’s way. She has loads of experience with all types of hair, and a wealth of knowledge with color. She truly listens to what you want (pictures always help) but is honest about what your hair is actually capable of. Best of all, she uses a special steamer for color so that the highlights that used to take 3+ hours at my previous salon takes no more than an hour and a half including cut and style.

From her prompt email correspondence in the beginning to her professionalism and creativity the day of the wedding, Shanna was absolutely phenomenal and I would not only recommend her for events but for everyday styling!
