It has been quite a few years since I have had my hair braided and for personal reasons i am VERY particular about who I allow to touch my hair. But I had an event with a specific vision in mind for my outfit. ShanLoren did not disappoint. Aside from their being so kind, and the obvious respect they have for their female clients and boundaries set, separate from the males in the barbershop section, I felt safe to be myself, completely feminine and enjoyed being pampered for the moment. AND their work was amazing!!! I had simple cornrows with extensions which I was so excited to learn was completely affordable. Personally, I feel she should charge more because the work was AMAZING but she is too kind ❤️. I wish I took pictures after I put on my dress but I was just enjoying being present in the moment❤️❤️ will definitely be returning!!

I like my braids and would go back again. She treats all her clients well. Also very knowledgeable of what style needs to be done. Her assistant is also very nice and well mannered. Very clean, customer friendly. Didn’t get her assistance name but both work very well together. I give ShanLoren and her assistant a five star. Job well done

I went to this place to get just to get simple braids,to have a new style for my wedding anniversary,first of all she pulled my hair so hard that i still have a migraine i don’t know what kind of products she uses but my hair was all slimy,they really ruined my day because i had to rush home to wash the mess right away… My migraine was killing me with my the hair pulling…

Very unprofessional. I was scheduled for 8. She leisurely walks in at 835 with an attitude. After already arriving so late she took the time to go and talk to men on the corner, take the trash out and other chores. Furthermore, her pricing is significantly higher than the competition. Don’t waste your time!
