Love this salon! It’s clean. The vibes in there are great. My hair is VERY thick and I got a silk press by Ty that turned out beautifully. Ty made me feel very comfortable and she knows what she is talking about when it comes to hair care! I would recommend. & their bundles sold there are great as well. Great quality.. They last a long time.

I just walked out of Shani’s Hair Gallery in North Plainfield. I got my hair done there on Friday and Dominique did a nice job. I called and scheduled 3 more appts for this wk. (For my divas picture days) One today and two tomorrow. We get there the girls sit quietly on the floor with their coloring books. Im told by Shani that kids are not allowed in her shop unless being serviced. I was not told this prior to coming. Now Im told to leave my 10 yr old with strangers. Im confused because on Friday when I got my hair done a little girl is in the shop dancing, jumping room to room, singing into the air conditioner, eating, and touching customers hair. But my daughters can’t sit quietly on the floor while they wait for their sister. Ok please cancel today’s appt, tomorrows’ 2 appts and my future appts. No one even offered a thanks for your business or apology for the inconvenience Sad when we cant support our own.

Had my first visit to this salon today and the stylist Raven was unprofessional and ghetto. Poor customer service. I will never go to this salon again. I was going back and forth with her regarding braiding my child’s hair too tight. Not equipped to work on children and overpriced. Never again.
