I love going to the spa. I heard great things about this location, so I decided to try something new. The service was excellent. The robe was too short, and the massage area was in the front of the place it did not have enough privacy. The young ladies that work there were awesome, and I appreciate them trying their best to keep so comfortable. The setting was very uncomfortable.

Zero stars. I had the dishonors of visiting this place for the first time a month ago. All of my go-to MUA were booked solid so I did research based on the reviews and actual photographs and came across this place. Unfortunately the person that I wanted was not available until later in the day which is when I d be unavailable. So the receptionist said that the person currently open is Imani and she was good too. I looked at her IG portfolio and took the chance. Got there 10 minutes before time and explained that I prefer a neutral and elegant look for the occasion. I showed her some examples from the shop’s reviews and one done on me by my last mua. She said the last mua did a very nice job then proceeded. Clipped my hair and she was very rough instead of careful not to mess up my brand new do which I mentioned was done just yesterday. First red flag. She frequently had her hands in my hair to get the right angles, and very rough might I add. I mentioned that my hair was just done yesterday, right? Why arent you using my chin and jawline and also speaking to me to tell me how you’d like me to position my head?? Second red flag. As she’s applying my foundation I noticed how sloppy she was around my edges and curl pattern. Dont you want to be as cautious and clean as possible to avoid any makeup in my hair?? She adds on the lashes of her taste after I told her I didnt like the length cause clearly that’s what she made the session about – her. Then after that.. she goes into adding more and darker colors that I did not consent to and I was wondering ‘what the hell is taking so long???’ After that was done and she was about to start on my lips, I made it very explicit by telling her I like a nude/clear/neutral color. She does the OPPOSITE and creates the WORST OMBRE that wasnt even well blended!!! When she was finally done, I was very displeased and didnt want her working on me anymore since she hit nothing but red flags. There was nothing that she could correct cause you clearly do not listen and took FOREVER to do my make up! I said my cheekbones have the dark color that you used and it doesnt look well blended in. She tells me ‘that’s your contour’ and I asked for it to be taken off. I am sitting directly in front of you and giving clear instructions of what I am paying you for. Why didnt you ask if I would like contour added??? Not everyone likes that. How do I ask for neutral/clear lip and you choose to give me a mediocre ombre??? I walked out TWO HOURS later looking like a drag queen!!!!! The only thing that came out right was the eyebrows and eyelid colour. Everything else was dismal and disastrous. So I rushed back to my hotel to remove– yes, remove– the garbage and thankfully my sister had an experienced and real professional mua who was doing her face and she squeezed me in and touched me up beautifully!!! Thank GOD!!

I had a Brazilian wax appointment with Jessica. Usually these are pretty uncomfortable but Jessica did an excellent job while making sure no hair was left behind. This was the most comfortable wax experience I’ve ever had. Jessica was very professional and personable. Shanique love beauty spa is clean and has a very welcoming space. Will definitely come back!

Great service! I had my first Brazilian wax and vajacial with Jessica, I was a little apprehensive but she was pleasant and eased my fears. She walked me through the process explaining everything before she did it and gave me tips to improve my skin. It was an excellent experience and I will definitely be booking her for all my future appointments!

I don’t typically leave reviews but I can’t keep this to myself. This was my first experience with waxing my queendom down there, I was serviced by Jessica L. She helped me feel at ease! She was welcoming! Place is inviting! Jessica didn’t only perform her job with skills she educated me through the process answering all my questions. She was patient with me as I was a nerve ball! She handled me with tender care.. I left with total satisfactions. I will return to see Jessica again soon!

Wanted to share my awesome customer experience at this place. I’m a Male and had Brazilian wax done with the vajacial (company needs a unisex name for this one. Lol). Anyway, Jessica Liddell provided exceptional service. By nature of waxing, the process was painful but Jessica’s professionalism and personable approach made the process enjoyable. Her fun conversational style helped keep me distracted in between pulls. Also, I had a 30 minute massage and foot scuba performed by Jasmine. She’s very pleasant and have gifted hands. I almost fell asleep during the session. Lastly, I’d like to give a special kudos to the front desk clerk. She was very friendly and have a bright and welcoming smile. I would definitely encourage anyone (guy or girl) to book an appointment.
