Horrible experience and won’t be going back. My tech, Amy, had an awful attitude the whole time snd started aggressively filing my nails and gave me an ice cold bowl of water to soak my hands in (temp outside is 46°) I was shocked at the cold water and quickly pulled my hands out. I told her it’s really cold and she said it didn’t need to be warm, it’s just to rinse them. I asked her if I could please get warm water and she jerked the bowl off the table while rolling her eyes and walked off without saying a word. I asked for a manager and they said there was no manager in. I told them I wouldn’t be getting my nails done but both my daughters were already started on getting their toes painted. While I sat there and waited for them several workers began laughing and talking a different language and looking at us. It’s my money and I won’t pay someone being rude and aggressive to do my nails. Do NOT recommend! Go to Filed around the corner!

Great aesthetic as far as the salon goes. I came in a about an hour and ten minutes before they closed. It’s my birthday and my boyfriend said he would get a manicure with me. I wanted to get an acrylic set as well. They completely ignored me when I said I wanted a manicure and my cuticles look awful. They did a great job on my boyfriends manicure. His tech, a younger girl, was super kind and tried to tease him about getting a color on his nails. This was after about 20 minutes of his and my techs talking in another language and laughing a lot. My tech talked to me twice the whole time I was there. She never introduced herself so I don’t know her name, she was an older lady with black glasses. She assumed I wanted my nails short and cut them without asking me. She did a terrible job shaping my nails. One hand does not match the other and several nails are oddly misshapen. The color I picked on the template looks nothing like the color of my nails. The paint is streaky and the underside of my nails is gunky. Would not recommend and I will not be back. The only reason I tried this salon is because Modern Nails and Spa is closed on Sundays. I will gladly wait next time. They charged me $5 more than my regular place. I hate not leaving a tip so I tipped her $10 for both mine and my boyfriends nails. Never again.

Several of the nail techs don’t change their technique when you tell them they’re being hurtful. Even the people next to me are saying the same thing. They are in way too much of a hurry and don’t seem to care.

I drive over one hour one way to come here. That’s how much I like it. It is always clean, everyone is friendly and professional. I recently relocated, but have been a client here in Edmond for about 4 years. The pedicures are awesome, too. Acrylic nails

I have been to this nail salon for many years. Day before yesterday I had a fill with what’s gel polish and it immediately started peeling off several of my nails anf looked awful. I returned today to ask them to redo the polish on my nails. the manager was insisting she was going to charge me. After standing my ground they finally redid my nails however because I insisted they stand behind their product the manager told me she did not want me to return. I will not return and I do not recommend this nail salon as long as the same person who I was told was Annie is manager.

I recently went with my mother who was visiting from Canada to get pedicures. My mother had gel nails applied and during removal the technician cut her cuticle with the burr and she didn’t say sorry. About a week after our pedicures we BOTH developed a cuticle abscess. Gross!! I’ve been going to Shangri-La for three years and this is the first bad experience. I don’t think I’ll be returning since I think their cleanliness standards and professionalism has fallen by the wayside recently

This was my first visit and I am definitely going back!! They were friendly and nice. Mary was fantastic….first time ever I didn’t bleed somewhere from an aggressive filing or crazy cuticle cutting!! Mary has the greatest laugh!
