I threw my back out and just wanted a good massage. I heard about this place from a friend so I figured, why not? So glad I went. It was great! Felt so good. $50 will get you an hour massage and it was well worth it. I will absolutely be going back.

I was asked to pay first, before the massage. Plus a $2 fee for using a credit card. Plus a tip. I offered a 10% tip, and she got angry and called the other woman in to berate me. I calmly explained to her the same thing that I said to the first; I’m in between jobs right now, and I would love to give a bigger tip (as I typically do), but I just cannot right now, and my lower back is in so much pain I can barely get around. She responded that she doesn’t care about my “personals” and I have to tip at least 20%. So I asked for my card back, and walked out.

I had a wonderful experience. The masseuse starts each press as light as a feather, added weight until she was pressing firm, and then eased off again until she was tickling with just the tips of her fingers. I was so relaxed, i forgot where i was. From start to finish, she only left the room once to greet another customer, and she returned immediately. Also, there was only about 5 minutes of talking during my entire 60 minute massage.

They kept talking during the massage and it was really hard to relax. She kept leaving and coming back during the massage. I booked an appointment and they started 25 minutes after and didn’t go for the full time. Also when I gave her a tip she looked angry. None of the massagers know English so when they need to tell you something you had no idea what they were saying.

Great customer service & quality work at lowest prices. You’d expect worse massage if you’re paying such low prices, but these guys are amazing; some don’t speak English which doesn’t bother me, in fact, it feels like I’m visiting Thailand or China. I come here 2-3 times a month for a 60 minute (only $20!) foot massage, which is more like a full body rub – Helen does a truly amazing job in relieving my stress & shoulder pain! Same background music gets a bit annoying after months of great service, otherwise I enjoy every visit, feel great afterwards & will continue coming here for years! I highly recommend Shang-Hai Foot Reflexology & Body Massage!
