Jocylene and Madi are amazing at the highlights, lowlights, and cut. Jocylene has been the stylist of my curls for a few yrs. She is going part-time and I needed to find a new stylist. She recommended Madi. Madi did great! Her technique was different from Jocylene’s but I like it just as well…yay! I was also impressed with the way she managed a very rude client. I think the client may have been a bit unstable at the moment and Madi handled her with compassion and professionalism.

I visited my mom in Chapel Hill and she surprised me with appointments together at Shampoo. She has gone there before, but this trip was my first time. I am SO impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, and quality services from this salon! I came in with a picture and an idea, and Shamie and Jesse brought it to life. I am in love with my new hair! Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout the whole process – not to mention the hair product line they use smells divine. If you’re looking for a new salon, I urge you to give Shampoo a shot I will absolutely be coming back with any future hair endeavor!

I went in and tgey had put my appt on wrong day. They took me anyway. I get my hair colored and highlights all the time at the salon I normally go to – this salon had trouble figuring out how to do it. It took 3 of them and even then they seemed unsure. It was just brown hair w/grey highlights The woman I had kept telling me she had never used bleach before and she was going to hurt my hair. She kept leaving me to talk with other stylists. I picked my drk brn and grey colors. It took over 2.5 hours to put the color in my hair. All 3 checked on me while processing. Finally a different stylist came back and said she would be finishing my hair because mine walked out. When I finally got back in the chair I had dark brown with silver and a wide, brassy light red strip goong down the center of my head. The woman asked me if I wanted her to fix it. She said I could come back. I told her it needed fixed now (It looked horrible). She said ok but I would lose the grey I paid to put in. I said please fix it. When I left – after about 5 hours there – I was out 200. Did not have the hair I asked for. (She told me she wasnt charging me for fixing their goof up – like it was a favor to me) I would never go back. The whole experience was awful.
