I loved how my hair turned out plus the price point; however, I had to wait over an hour for my set appointment time. Not even an apology was given as I waited. I did let them know about the wait time. Hair stylists charge extra when customers are late, but what compensation do customers receive? One of those decisions to sit and wait in order to not walk out looking crazy.

If you get your loc twisted every other weekend, you AND the stylists are idiots. That said, this shop works fast but they really could care less about the health of your hair. It will look okay but it will be damaged In the end. You also have to pay in cash. Didn’t know this so had to pay a fee at the star mart’s atm to pay them. “Appointment” also started 75 minutes late. Overall, you’ll get a decent do that will pull your edges out and you’ll pay cash but receive no receipt. Meh

I have no complaints about Shalom Hair Braiding. My daughter hair has been flawless the 3 times she been here and I’ve also had my hair done here as well. The environment is what I love the most. They are friendly and trustworthy. Highly recommend

These ladies were nice and friendly from the time I walked in until the time I left. Very professional. My lemonade braids are THEEEE BOMB. They look better than the picture I showed the stylist. Tight as heck but definitely worth it.

They are always friendly and go the extra mile to make sure you love your style. They are very professional and provide quality work. They never braid to tight or pull our hair. I will never spend my money here again never go here to get dreads retwist I’ve lost 6 dreads cause it is very painful to sit in a chair an have someone pull on your hair so tight that it creates a headache then unable to repair the damage tried having them braid my dread back in they had no clue to even fixing the problem only response they gave was to cut my hair an start over SHAME ON them I’ve ended up with thin hair on top of my head had it check out by hair specialist and they told me it was cause of the tight retwist every other weekend so be aware of this people pay attention to your hair lose from tight braids

I was able to get a same day appointment. WOW, right. The shop was clean and very professionally kept. The ladies in the shop were very pleasant. I had two hands in my head immediately and they made quick work of my micros. They did an amazing job. I will definitely return for future service.
