Shalom Easy Hair Braiding

Critical: QualityI called and ask to come in for consultation to see if she would be able to braid my hair as i am currently growing out hair from a big chop. She asked that i send pictures, of which she replied she would be able to do.The next day i arrived and she advised my hair was shorter than what she expected and it would be an additionsl $20.The goal was to receive box braids. She started by braiding braid a little more than half way down, and slightly burning where she stopped w a lighter, i assume to prevent braid from coming undone while she braided rest of my hair. Mid way through the braiding process she was running low on black hai and starting mixing brown hair w the black hair, ithout even mentioning it me, and not per my request.By the time she finish adding the braids she went back and started braiding some( not all) of the braids down to the end… most were unevenly sized throughout the hair. She dipped braids in hot water to prevent unraviling. Byday two yhe ends of the braid were shedding everywhere from where she partislly torched w lighter. By week two braids were coming out left and right. Before end of week three i had enough and removed the braids. Called another shop close by and asked if i could come in for consultation. After receiving okay , stopped by and told her what i wanted. She advised that due to hair length she would recommend going w smsller braids and smaller parts so thst ghe braids would last longer. I appreciated that she did make ghe suggestion. And agreed to come back next day.
