I was late for an appointment because I couldn’t find parking in aggieville. I text them 3 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start to let them know I will be late, and they text back “Sorry I didn’t think your were coming and I’m no longer there. I’m so sorry” and when I got there the place was locked up even though they were listed as open for another 2 hours. I have had this scheduled out for a week and left work earlier than I wanted to just to make it to this place. But she left because I was 3 minutes late, or was it because I didn’t answer what looks like a simple reminder text.

I loved shaggieville . I showed Lachelle how i wanted my cut and she did exactly that , my hair looked just like the gal in the picture. Im so happy . Location is great right there on the heartbeat of Manhattan. Shop was super clean and everyone was very friendly. I will definitely will be back for myself and i will recommend other people. I’ve been to Shaggieville twice and both times were wonderful! My appointment with Cheryl was great–I got exactly the cut I wanted and I will definitely be making future appointments! My fiance has even commented about how he likes my hair best after I’ve been to Shaggieville! Not only are the ladies working there awesome, but the environment of the salon is very welcoming, friendly, and relaxed.

I cut my hair short almost a year ago and once my hair stylists moved back to her home town to open a shop, I have been looking for someone who can actually cut my hair properly. There is nothing more irritating than paying someone around $30 and the cut sucks. So while I’ve met a lot of nice people, finding a good stylist has been tough. So last week, 2/3/15, I wanted to get my hair cut and searched for stylists in Manhattan. Shaggieville had good reviews, and I had remembered a friend of mine getting a cut there a couple years back and liking it. So, I called and Stacey was able to fit me in within the next ten minutes since she had a free spot, which was awesome. I have strict guidelines for how my hair can be cut, even short, and showed her the guidelines, and a couple of pictures of what I would like to do. I wanted to keep something similar to my current cut but needed it within the length guidelines. So she told me she has done some similar cuts and thought we could still do what I wanted easily enough. So she started cutting and midway through, stopped asked me what I thought o far, how I liked the length, etc. I told her I liked one section but that we could probably go shorter in another. She did I asked, and then made some suggestions that I went with. I ended up keeping my bangs, she convinced me to, and I am glad I did. So while the cut is very different than I had before it still looks similar. I am so happy with what she did with my hair. She is truly an expert and I will continue to go back to her for as long as I am in Manhattan. It is such a relief to find someone who knows how to cut hair, can do it properly, is knowledgeable, and is a kind person as well. Stacey was great!

I go to Shaggieville every couple of weeks to get my hair cut by Lachelle and she does an awesome job every time. Everyone is super friendly and know the trade. They do a great job of getting you in when you need it. 10/10 would recommend.
