There is a positive energy between staff and with clients. I continue to be impressed with the time and attention my hairdresser, Tom Harris, gives to discussion about my cut and color. He is masterful and offers ideas and options with nothing taken for granted. He is engaging , so experienced and an interesting conversationalist all the while giving me the most stylish haircuts I could ever imagine considering my fine and rather limp hair…I have never been disappointed and I leave the salon with a bit of a kick to my step. During my last visit I was particularly impressed with Janell, who applied my color, glaze and shampoo…she was sensitive, interactive and engaging with what I call the “It” factor. I went for my appointment with stylist, Gina Torres for my color, cut and blow out. I have been going to Gina for years, and she is amazing not only with cutting hair, but she has worked magic on my naturally curly hair that frizzes at the drop of a hat by using Keratin. Gina is a genius with color, she has perfected a formula, so my red hair that only looks natural, but gets me numerous compliments. The shop was very busy when I was there and the dynamic team of Assistant, Vianna and Gina work together to handle multiple clients, effortlessly. Though new, Vianna mixed, and skillfully applied my color like a seasoned professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to allow her to do so again. I never felt like she was rushing to finish with me nor did I feel neglected. She was personable and is going to be an asset to Shag86.

I loved every minute of my Shag86 experience! Tom did an amazing job on my hair, taking my boring brown hair to a beautiful balayage with amber tones perfect for fall. He was so kind to explain to me the process of the balayage and everything he was doing to my hair. When it came time for the cut and I was clueless what I wanted he showed me pictures of different kind of styles and helped me move into a direction of what I wanted, and he went above and beyond with a beautiful butterfly style cut. I love my new hair so so much! Thanks Tom!
