It was my first time going to this salon, and I loved it. My sister and I wear hijabs (head scarf) so we needed a secluded area to have our hair cut. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to what you want. They have a large cover that blocks the view, so the stylist can work on you in private. It’s also very clean and spacious. They also have a separate area for manicures and pedicures.

I was very clear about the color I wanted, but the hair stylist chose something different. Also, she didn’t inform me that she was adding additional services that ending up costing me more money. You shouldn’t do that to a first time customer. When I told the ladies in the front, they just asked her why, and that was it. They didn’t apologize or anything. I do t think I’ll be going back.

I went to this place for the first time and ended up spending a whopping $300+ for a typical hair color and a hair cut. I was also informed that the hair color will not last for too long. Moreover, even after refusing a blow dry service, the stylist convinced me for one to charge me an additional $25. Overall, the service quality was decent but nothing extraordinary and definitely not worth the price I paid.

Where do I even begin with Shades Salon! I have gone to Tereza for a while now and I’ve tried other places but always seem to come back! So this time around my girls wanted a haircut so I decided to book with Tereza as well. And OMG let me tell you my girls were obsessed saying they want to always come with her! My daughters have gotten haircuts from different places and we never seemed to find the RIGHT place. Well Tereza has the patience and love for what she does and you can see it and feel it in her work. She treated the girls so amazing and also made sure to ask them constantly if they liked the haircut or style she was doing. My girls were involved in the process, she also did a full service of washing there hair and styling it which was there favorite part! We are so happy with our haircuts and we can’t wait to keep coming to her and her amazing service! ❤️ Thank you Tereza!!
