So- I have been wanting to do a sew in for so many years but I couldn’t find any shop that had the potential to give me my desired look to match the texture of my own hair. Rachel did an amazing job with my silk press and trim. She had excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. However, I will not be returning back. The owner is trying to find her way of managing employees and prices. While Rachel was doing my hair, the owner came over to ask her about a previous transaction and what she was paid in a tip. They briefly discussed the transaction while I was in the chair, which in my opinion was unprofessional. Secondly, once my hair was taken down, she looked at my hair and gave an arbitrary price for my hair. For a silk price that normal cost $72, I paid $120 because my hair is long. I have went to several locations across KC to get a silk price and I was never charged this large amount. I agreed to the price because I was in a time crunch, however, I will not be returning. If you have a long hair, be prepared to pay a substantial amount more for service.

The staff was nice and professional, not to mention the music is nice & makes you want to sing while you’re in the chair. I always wanted a sew in but since my hair is crazy (texture, style, and length) I’ve never trusted anyone touching my hair, having mixed hair is hard to deal with especially when you go to someone who has no experience with hair textures. This salon definitely knew how to work with my hair and my hair was dealt with care. I was walked through each step so I did not have to wonder about what was happening or even pricing. I will be returning for all of my hair needs and growth. It was worth the travel and I am glad that I went. I also went as a walk in and was seen right away. Thank you !!

Very professional and likeable stylist. Cynthia was efficient and knowledgeable. She worked with speed. I was thoroughly impressed with the finished product. No spending all day in a hair salon. I will definitely recommend to others and return back myself.

Hadn’t had a sew-in for year’s so I thought I’d give this place a try. Let’s just say I WILL NOT be going back! 1st issue- Braid down was nice, however the sew-in was too tight and the owner tried to criticize me blaming it to be my fault when I brought it up. Plus they make you sign a waiver, so clearly I am not the only one who has had this issue. 2nd issue- Website offers a net, but when asked to get one the owner states that she didn’t have it an questioned my reason for wanting one.

I reached out to Vastiti after my braider cancelled last minute. It was the weekend before school started back for my daughter and we were panicking! She got us in the same day! I was very impressed with the salon. It was cute, professional, and comfortable. The price was very reasonable and her braids turned out beautiful! I couldn’t be happier with the service we received.
