I ordered a Groupon and booked an appointment for the same week. During booking, I chose the Groupon deal thinking it would put my card on file just in case. It still charged me $99 right then and there on top of the Groupon I’d already purchased. I contacted the shop and by the next day they’d refunded the extra charge. Great! I showed up for my appointment today and no one was in. I contacted the shop and was told the person was stuck in traffic and running 15 minutes late but I would still get my full time. An hour and a half later, here I am still on site with no word from anyone and no massage. I called again and the woman said she would call her boss and then call me back. She was very nice, but I haven’t heard back at this point and it’s been 30 minutes. I went ahead and contacted Groupon for a refund. I took time out of my work day for this much needed massage and my time was wasted. I understand that things happen, but there was absolutely no communication outside of that which I initiated.
