I word give No stars if I could … I had been going to Serenity Nails for awhile now and after this last time I am DONE with the rude service !! I went in to see Lisa for a new set , she insisted I did not need one but I told her I wanted a new set anyway because I wanted to change up my color and I have a special event I need to go to , (I want to add that when I first got there she was complaining of a toothache and I told her that I could go somewhere else because I felt bad but she insisted I get them done ) so she starts and I reminded her that I wanted a new set AGAIN and she slam down the drill and rolled her eyes , I then said , Just remove the polish and then I wanted to leave and she said fine ! ( like she could care less ) so I went up the street and GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED

I have been going to Serenity for years and have always been happy with their pedicures and manicures, especially when I’ve had Jenn or Lily. After stopping in today, I will never go back. I called a couple of days ago to schedule a pedicure for me (I didn’t request anyone in particular) and a gel manicure for my daughter (I asked for Jenn). After talking to the owner for 5 minutes on the phone, stating over and over that we needed two separate appointments, he said that we could come in at 3:00. He had initially said 4:00, but then changed it to 3:00. I asked again repeatedly to make sure that we were both to have our pedi/mani done at 3:00, and he rudely said yes. So we go in today at 2:50. He tells my daughter to sit for her pedi and for me to wait until 4:00. I said, it’s me that getting the pedi and she should be having her mani with Jenn at the same time. He went on to yell at us in front of all the customers that I was wrong. I planned on staying but after continuous yelling, we decided to leave. We went somewhere up the street, got in immediately with no appointment, and got our mani/pedi. They were both beautifully done without the disrespect of the owner of Serenity. They lost two clients today and will probably lose more if he keeps that up.

I came today and Lisa was very rude. She criticized my toes. They are charging 20 for two big toe tips. It’s not even that long. I usually pay 10 for two. She left nail polish on my toe. And my feet still have calluses on them still. She was much nicer to a customer who wasn’t even her customer. This experience really is making me looking into doing things for myself.

Critical: QualityI went to go get my nails done and tried to explain to them that I only wanted the clear color dip with gel on top and they couldn’t understand that, once they did I showed the person of the picture I wanted and the nail polish I liked for it, he said my brown was too light and got a darker one instead (which ended up not even being near the color of my choice) I had to pay 53 dollars!! Now it’s been only a week and my nails are chipping in 7 different places. This is my second time going, very disappointed again, don’t think I’ll be going back. Critical: Professionalism, ValueAlways sent people here and highly recommended for 5 yrs … until today. They took advantage of my young daughter being there by herself with her sister. And charged $68 for an acrylic full set , I called them while she was there , asked how much a full set is, was told $40, I then asked how about a full set with colored acrylic, I was told $45. So proceeded to ask why then are they charging my daughter $68 ? They put me on hold, then came back and told me it was for the colored acrylic, talked amongst themselves, and I said I thought you just said that is $45?? I was put on hold 2 more times, before another person got on the phone and said it was for the the length of the nail and the shape, and the “design” . The photo my daughter provided was for color reference only. She was never asked what shape, she doesn’t not like coffin shape. But was given it anyway. She doesn’t do long nails , and they are not as long as the picture, not even close lol. They are standard length, and the design is not a design, it’s not art, it’s an angled French tip. Nothing crazy. I should reference that 2 months ago she did get acrylic ombré that was $60, and was absolutely justified as that takes extra effort and skill to perform, which is why she went with a more basic nail this time because she didn’t want to pay for the extra stuff. They proceeded to embarrass her in the salon, telling her her “ mommy called and said that we won’t be coming back” and they were mocking it, and the man doing her nails Eve said “ I don’t care if you don’t come back, don’t come back” and laughed. While he was finishing her nails. It was all handled extremely unprofessional and it’s unfortunate because we have been coming there for yrs and I’ve sent so many people there and always had good things to say. But to insult and embarrass a child , and threaten to not finish her nails and laugh at her , when I clearly told the woman at the end of the conversation “ charge what you want, finish her nails. “ because she was threatening to not finish them, she said “ you don’t want to pay, we will stop doing them, want him to stop?” Making a huge scene in front of everyone. Just all around unprofessional, just because someone questions your price, don’t insinuate they aren’t going to pay and put on a show to belittle and embarrass someone.
