Such an upsetting, discouraging visit. I went for a mani/pedi, which I was so excited for and left feeling beyond disappointed. First, my manicure paint job turned out looking smudged or bubbly on top due to the fast drying spray she used, which we noticed while she started on my pedicure. She apologized and re-painted my nails after my pedicure, so I thought I was good to go and appreciated she fixed the issue. However, as my toes dried and my nails dried again, they still have the smudged, bubbly look due to the quick dry spray she was using, which I’ve never had happen in my 10+ years of getting my nails done professionally. My nails and toes looked so bad I had to take the polish off and this entire process was a waste of my time and extra money I don’t typically have for these services right now. I called and asked to speak with the manager, I was told they’d call me back and I have yet to receive a phone call.

This place shouldn’t be called a spa. We walked in and were sent to a basement that was freezing. When we got to the waiting area the intake forms of the 6 people before us was waiting on the table with all their personal information. The ceilings in the spa room looked absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold growing on the back side of them. My husband and I got facials that were half way decent. We then got full body massages that were probably the worst we’d ever had. There’s no way that the ladies doing them were trained in massage therapy. The majority of my back massage was done with one hand at a time. My husband said half way through he wanted to just get up and walk out but it was my birthday and he didn’t want to ruin it. He then went to the bathroom and said they were disgusting. Moral of the story I would highly not recommend.

This place was an absolute joke of a “spa”. It legitimately felt like walking into a horror movie. Firstly, the basement where massages are done was probably 55-60 degrees. The ceiling tiles were either missing or had water damage. The bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Nothing about the decor made it feel like a “spa”. The masseuse played the same song in repeat for the hour of what was supposed to be a massage. You honestly can’t make this stuff up. It’s disheartening to see a “business” conduct itself like this. I will not be returning and will be contacting the BBB.

Explained lower back pain to massage therapist. Some confusion about purpose of visit. Spine, hip bones and lower back felt bruised for days. Possibly causes more back issues.

I’ve had a pedicure, massage/facial and dermaplane facial here and I’ve had no issues at all. The pedi left my feet/legs feeling so soft and the polish turned out great. My massage/facial was so relaxing and I was made to feel at east. I got a dermaplane facial and it was so relaxing I could have fallen asleep. Good, down to earth atmosphere and enjoyable.

My daughter and I had our lashes lifted and tinted. Cassie did a fantastic job on both of us! I’m very pleased with how they turned out. Lash lift

Serendipity Spa & Salon had taken me in without an appointment and had done a great job on styling my hair and makeup. The hairdresser and staff were very friendly and funny.

I will absolutely be back. They saved me twice in as many days. I had an appointment somewhere else to have an updo done today and they were unable to keep the appointment. I called Serendipity with the hopes they could fit me in. The owner, Karen, told me to come in and she would take care of me. And she absolutely did. I LOVE what she did with my hair. Thank you all so much!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityBooked a sugaring appointment online. When I arrived for my appointment the tech wasn’t certified to sugar. She seemed nice so I let her do wax. When she ‘finished’ she missed half of my legs so I called her back and showed her. She seemed irritated and this time she asked me to check to see if she got everything. She didn’t, but I was over it so I told her it was fine. Left her a tip and booked for sugaring with the receptionist after explaining to her that I booked for sugar online and somehow their system didn’t catch it (even showed her my confirmation).Went back for my sugaring appointment, it was put into the system as a waxing service. The tech was certified to sugar, but she couldn’t find any in the shop so I left. She apologized, but she didn’t offer to rebook me.I’m a reasonable person, but this is ridiculous. I get once, but twice…I’ve worked in the industry and this is simple stuff and not very good customer service. Not to mention, no one was wearing a mask.Luckily, I was able to find a nicer and more professional place that could get get me in before my trip.Service: Body waxingBooked a sugaring appointment online.
