This was a horrible experience. My daughter and I went there for pedicures. We were not offered any other option other than the basic pedicure. When the guy started to polish my toenails I realized he had not massaged my foot. When asked about it, he giggled and said no…he was not going to massage my feet. As I sat there waiting for the woman to finish my daughter…I realized the other customer, who happened to be white, got a full foot massage. When I voiced my concerns about paying full price when I had not received the service I paid for…the owner became argumentative and refused to give a discounted rate. She told me everyone gets the same thing – which I witnessed was not the truth. She proceeded to call the police on me when I said I would not pay full price. I simply asked for $5.00 off to compensate for the lack of service I received.

This mail salon is just as bad as K&E in waxhaw. Terrible customer service and dishonest employees. I booked 2 fills for my little sisters birthday (even mentioned it on the phone) when i arrived they said i never called to make an appointment then decided i actually did call and only made one. Then they said they couldn’t do my little sisters nails. Just go to Charlotte to get your nails done. It’s worth it.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis place was recommended by a friend. My daughter & I called and got an appointment the same day. They were great! Cassie did a fill on me and my nails look great! Most places make my nails so THICK….not this place, they look very natural. She spent a good amount of time, correcting the thickness and someone else painted them. She took her time and the Gel polish looks great.Services: Pedicure, ManicureThis place was recommended by a friend. My daughter & I called and got an appointment the same day. They were great! Critical: ProfessionalismI was looking to become a regular customer in a salon closer to my new home. I have tried several salons in the area , none of which I would choose to become a regular. This was my last option. The owner (I assume) was not friendly to me at all. I called to make an appointment. I explained what I needed- one finger of SNS due to a split. She told me that she had no availability at all that week. Wow, I thought. This takes 25 minutes. She agreed to see me at 8:00 am. When she arrived, she wouldn’t speak to me. I went in and sat down. Once she discovered that it was for only one nail, she told me that I didn’t say that when I made the appointment. Well, someone wasn’t listening. All she heard was SNS and this could be a language issue, I don’t know. But either way, here I was. She complained that she had to come in so early and that it was ‘a waste of time’. She went on and on …’NO way’, she kept saying. I felt horrible. I had to get up at 7:00 am too with nowhere else to go. Then, a customer (a regular I presumed as they knew each other) came in. The shop opens at 9:30 and it was only 8:30 so apparently her arrival at 8:00 was NOT a waste of time. I just feel horrible. I don’t understand why people treat other people in this way. I wanted to share and hope that if you go to this salon, you have a better experience. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’ve been going to Sephora nails for yrs. Id take time off from getting acrylic nails and then I would start to go again. Couple wks ago sam did my nails and she was awesome. Very satisfied. Normally when I like someone’s work I only go to them but I needed a fill in and got my days mixed up. So I came in and had someone else do them. Idk what her name was but she was the older women. She glued one of my nails on crooked (one needed a new nail) and when I very polietly asked her if she could pls re glue it she ignored me. I asked her very respectfully 3 times to please re glue the nail. Even offered to pay for it! She just kept adding more acrylic and filed it. That doesn’t fix the situation..my nail was still crooked.. So I let it go and said it was fine. She then messed up when filling in the nails. Some were great. A few were not. I addressed my concerns with Cassie and received nothing but excuses. Like I was wrong and there was nothing wrong with my nails what so ever. It’s like they were refusing to help address my concerns. I’m the one paying for this service!!! All she had to do was re glue the crooked one so it was straight and add some acrylic filling to a few of the nails. Not to mention I was 100% respectful the entire time! I explained how I didn’t want to sound rude. I’m not mad. I just don’t want to walk out unsatisfied and then have regrets. This is what I told them. When she was painting my nails she got glitter on the entire nail. I only wanted the color on the tips of my nails. At this point my nails look very unappealing so I go with painting the entire nail so u don’t see her mistakes. She told me I had to pay 5$ extra for changing the color that she had to re do anyway!!!! Then before I wash my hands again she puts this clear coat on my nails and was slopping it on there getting it all over my fingers. A few nails didn’t even get the clear coat because she put it on my actual finger. I had enough at this point. I said excuse me and I wanted to stop the service and leave but I can’t just throw away money. So I’m crying my eyes out in the bathroom because all I wanted was some relaxing me time since I have 3 kiddos at home and I’m very busy. I then wait another 15 mins for Cassie to come re paint my nails. Cassie did give me back that extra 5 I gave. But I shouldn’t of even had to pay today. That lady took an extra 5 dollars from me for no reason other then she felt she could. I’m astonished this happened to me today. I really needed this time alone and it was ruined all because I calmly and polietly addressed some concerns I had with my nails. I’d recommend only letting sam do your nails. She’s there on the weekends. The gentleman owner did ask me a couple times if I was ok. He was very nice. I greatly appreciated that.I’ve been going to Sephora nails for yrs. Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy daughter went here today and they were absolutely horrible to her. In reading over all of the reviews, I see they have a history of being rude to customers…especially ones who aren’t white. My daughter is white but has arthritis in her hands. They told her they couldn’t do her nails because it was “weird” and they called her annoying and then told her to leave. I came up to find out what in the world they did to make her nails bleed and they told me they were going to call the police after they hurt her! I’ve never been talked to or treated that way in a business in my life. They do not deserve anyone’s business.Service: ManicureMy daughter went here today and they were absolutely horrible to her. I would have given this place a 5 but I couldn’t relax because they had the 5 o’clock news blaring. I wouldn’t have minded if the volume was lower. But the fact that the volume was literally blaring I found it hard to enjoy my experience. To say the least the atmosphere was uncomfortable. However, they did to a excellent job with my nails. They were very kind and very professional. Also I would like to say the gel nails they gave me are the best I’ve ever had! They have lasted longer than 2 weeks & very well.

After reading reviews of other nail salons and being treated very rudely by one salon over the phone, I decided to give Sephora a try. I am glad I did! I had to bring my 96-year-old mother in law somewhere to get a mani/pedi and needed someone that would take their time with her and a place that would make an appointment and keep it so we wouldn’t have to wait longer than 10-15 minutes. I get a pedicure as well. We were taken back within 5 minutes of arrival. The staff was very friendly and professional. They took their time to do an excellent job on both of us. It was an extremely pleasant experience and we will definitely be back again!
