I got Japanese hair straightening treatment today at Sema Hair Salon. The service I got and the end result was amazing. The hairstylist(Jean) was very professional and caring throughout the process. It took 3 hours for the whole treatment. I definitely recommend this place. I am going again in a year!!!!!!

I normally get my hair straight annually as I have naturally curl hair. The salon I usually go to was permanently closed probably due to covid. So I found Sema online, and gave it a try yesterday. It is amazing, I am absolutely going back. Highly recommend.

Took my daughter here for a Japanese straight. My first experience was great I thought he did a beautiful job but last only 5 or 6 months, the second visit I felt it was so rushed and less than 2 months my daughter’s hair was back to the way it was. Best place for Japanese Straightening been coming here for many years. Grace is so kind and good at her job. They will take care of your hair no matter the type of hair. Any style you want the staff will give you walk out feeling beautiful, handsome if your a guy haircuts, for kids. Nice local salon.

I have a semi wavy midlength hair and I had a Japanese keratin done 3 weeks ago. I was charged $250 . The guy was nice but hardly speak. After 3 days of washing, my hair was same as it was. So I called to inform them to have it re-done. I went after a week and half when it was first done and a new guy explained that the first guy who did my hair gave less of the treatment that is why it resulted to almost the same. He blowdry my hair and that was it..I told him it needs to be re-done. He charged me another $100 to straighten my hair (which is supposed to be a back job). I agreed and paid for it. A week after you cannot even tell I had 2 Japanese treatments done as it is still the same and now my hair is damaged. I wasted more than $400 including tips. I would not return here anymore.

I was a bit early for my 10am appointment, but they were ready for me. The salon was very clean and although there was a language barrier, the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. The gentleman who did my treatment was so careful, and explained each step thoroughly. He also noticed that my hair was a little uneven and decided to give it a trim. He was an amazing perfectionist. He explained after care and when to come back! I will be going back to this salon every time I need a treatment! I was amazed with the customer service and hard working staff! Thank you Sema!!! This place was the absolute worst. Worst service and horrible people working. Please stay away from this place it is not worth your money. They lie telling you your hair will be pin straight but it just looks the same, if not ruined. Stay away please!!!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I totally would

I went there for Japanese Straightening today and was not disappointed. I’m loving the results! Mr Chris is a true perfectionist, takes a great deal of pride in his work and clearly enjoys what he does. I am so so thankful that i got my hair treatment from this place. everyone was so nice there especially Grace. I’ve already recommended this salon to all of my friends, not only for the Japanese straightening, but also for haircuts, because I would trust Sema Hair Salon with all my hair problems now!
