Myself and my daughter have been going to Kami for at least 5 years and will ONLY go to her when we need a cut and/or color. We have ALWAYS left the salon happy and are NEVER disappointed. Her prices are very reasonable and definitely worth the time and magic she does!! I trust everything she does to our hair. I will go in there with an idea (from pictures) and she will be absolutely honest with us if it can be done or not. She LISTENS to our wants and exceeds our expectations and makes it better than what we pictured the turn out would be. I highly recommend Kami to anyone looking for a good stylist!!

Kami is amazing!! She did a cut and color on my hair and was super thorough. She made sure she understood what I wanted, and not only perfected a pretty short bob type cut, but also color! I had Kami as my stylist twice. The first time back in August she was super friendly, and I was having a baby and she was so excited and giving me all this great advice as I was going to a first time mom. We laughed and talked the whole time. My hair looked great as well. I went back a second time a week or so ago, and she was not personable at all. She didn’t talk to me at all, other than asking what I wanted done and seemed annoyed anytime I would say something so I just sat there in silence. My hair looked good styled, but once I got home and washed it a couple days later, I noticed it’s very choppy at the bottom which I’m probably going to have to have fixed. She also upped her haircut a lot. I paid under $30 (before tip) in august, and paid $50 (before tip) last week. That’s a crazy jump and way too expensive. I was not aware of this until it was time to pay. Will not be going back.

It will take my hair YEARS to recover from my experience at Selah Salon. I wish that was an exaggeration, but it’s not. I have very fine and thin hair but I keep it pretty long. I went in for a root touch up and a trim. When I called the salon I asked if there were any stylists who specialize in brunette to blonde transformations. I was told that Danae was the stylist to see, so that’s who I booked with. It wasn’t until halfway through my service that I found out she specializes in hair extensions, NOT what I was looking for. When I walked in my hair was pretty and I was happy with it (minus needing my roots done), when I walked out my hair was an over-foiled grayish brown mess that had been THINNED by thinning shears!!!!

Jillyan was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure my hair was exactly what I wanted!! We had a blast talking in her chair she makes you feel so comfortable!
