Just got a hair cut here. Got a simple one layer cut with a face frame. $50 for a hair cut that did NOT include styling. Left the salon with WET HAIR. Got home and had to style it….. once I blow dried and styled my hair…. The cut looks great! I honestly would have given 5 stars but…. I just think it’s crazy to cut someone’s hair and not check to see how it looks dry/styled. Or not tell you ahead of time that it is $30 to ADD drying/styling to your haircut.

Don’t make an appointment here. There is no staff to do your highlights or color. I was going here and spent probably over $1000 by now. So I was repeat customer then my stylist out due to having baby and the girl they assigned me was not experienced but I thought I would stick it out until my girl came back. But now after waiting almost 6 weeks for appointment I get a call that the replacement stylist is out and they cannot keep my Saturday appointment! Can’t get me in until May! Horrible service, unreliable staff, obviously bad management! Go somewhere else. They could have scheduled me somewhere but chose not to! Don’t waste your time here you may end up in my situation. Highlights and base need attention not someone dropping the ball like this.

Secrets was the safest salon during COVID. Then they lost a precious friend and teammate. When Karen died, I didn’t know if I could go back. But, Gina and her team have continued to take care of the Karen regulars. I know I can talk about Karen when I’m there. I am part of the Secrets family.

On my actual visit staff was nice and so was my stylist. Salon was clean and I liked that they made you hand sanitize and enforced a mask for everyone there. I went in for a trim to cut off dry ends and to redo my layers. This was my first time at this salon and first haircut since pandemic started. The visit took an hour and throughout it I felt like there was not much of a change in my hair and at the end it didn’t feel any fresher. I did not want to make the stylist feel bad so I didn’t say anything. When I got home my partner noticed one side was uneven. I called the next morning and asked to speak to the manager who initially I was told was available. Chelsea came on the phone who I thought was the manager who said that I could come back in and get it cut again by same stylist or pay 20 dollars more for another stylist who charged more. I told her I did not want to come back to original stylist as I felt the cut had not been done correctly the first time and did not want her to cut my hair again and it seemed ridiculous to pay more money for an issue that was not my fault. She said she would speak to the manager about a different resolution. I told her I thought she was the manager which she was not. She said she would call me back. She left a voicemail stating the resolution they offered was a cut for next week, 5 days later with the original stylist and someone else watching. I called asking for the manager again and she was not available and I spoke with Katie who offered the same solution for next Tuesday. I told her I did not think the resolution was appropriate and asked that the manager please call me back which per her would be the following day.

Critical: ValueThis was a terrible!!!!! experience for several reasons. The lady was completely a mute, she had zero to say and had I felt a more warm vibe, id of tipped more…the front desk lady super rude, also a mute and forced me to take my tempature and fill out a covid questionaire…. not pleasantries… my bill was 150 for one color, black… she says she left some contrast, but she didn’t. I had an issue last time with them and haircuts… don’t know why I went back. Been visiting this salon for 2 and a half years now, after having my hair ruined by someone else locally. Sarah is awesome, listens to what I want, and advises me about whether my hair will accept such a “do”. She gives great advice, and a wonderful razor cut! The shop is always clean, the staff friendly, and the price reasonable for a quality product. HIGHLY recommend this shop!!

To whom it may concern: had a perm February 16th which only lasted 2 weeks. Very dissatisfied for the $. Tried a different stylist August 26th for another perm!!! Which was over processed. Another $ down the drain. Once again nothing said had my hair cut from my normal stylist she never mentioned anything except when I checked out she handed me a sample package of Aveda botanical repair! Very disappointed !!!
