Critical: ProfessionalismAfter looking on Instagram for a skilled braider, I came across this braid page. All because I noticed a female from grade school mostly pictured as a hair model, how I remembered always kept her hair up.I then, felt comfortable moving forward with this site not meeting or know Laurelle prior to my appointment. I had some issues first using my phone to book this particular appointment, I reached out and it took Laurelle half the day to let me know to try again in other words. I was still interested so, I used a computer that helped finalize moving forward.Soon after I got a follow up email, letting me know next steps I had to only get the hair she likes using to braid. At this time I read her terms & conditions. Stating it was “not word by word CLEAR about an early cancelation prior, only relating to “Rescheduling”, however with the hair she REQUESTED to buy off another link site was “sold out”. I reached back out about how do we move forward to not waste my “deposit fee” and see what her next options were. After hours I wanted to cancel my appointment. I was disregarded once asking for a refund after booking less than 72 hours ago. Still was given no reply back within her business hours. Basically if you’re not buying the hair she likes and requested [after booking] & not reading the terms before hand, Laurelle wont refund the money back, she is a scam for money. I support many Black businesses in Seattle, as I am a business owner too, this is a learning experience. Laurelle is Not professional.
