My daughter walked in with hair that needed much work done to it to make it healthy and beautiful. Her hairstylist Patricia and all of the employees called it a “project” and knew when all the effort and hard work was done she would leave very happy because they take great pride in their work. I can’t say enough about Patricia and the owner of the salon. They were AMAZING and so friendly. We walked out very knowledgeable about how to treat our hair as well water turns our hair green. Please visit this salon for all of your hair care.

Lovely people in a very relaxed family style environment with Kate who does a fantastic color and Patricia who gives a soft elegant and polished beautiful haircut and blow dry! The owner of the Salon is so welcoming too! The receptionist always tries to get you in on the schedule and meet your busy work and life schedule as well. I used to go into town on Newbury Street for these services- no need to drive in town anymore when exceptional ! services are found here at Sean Michael Salon right on the South Shore in my own back yard! A short distance from living in Duxbury!

This was our first time at this salon. My 13 yo daughter had an appt for a cut. We showed up on time. Upon our arrival the woman at the front desk was on the phone. She never looked up at us and was well aware of our presence. We waited standing off to the side as I realized she was on a personal call. She continued on her personal call ignoring us for a good 7-8 minutes as we stood there. I grew increasingly annoyed and started looking for a hairdresser to come forward but they all just looked at us not saying hello or asking if they could help us. We waited about 10 minutes then I thought to myself I wasn’t going to give them a dime and we walked out. I was so disappointed and would definitely not recommend visiting this salon as a first timer….first impressions are so important.

AMANDA at Sean Michael’s achieved the near impossible challenge to make me a satisfied customer the first try. I’ve been to about 25 hair stylists since moving here and 15 years ago. I can’t remember a time that I didn’t have to go back for some type of adjustment or been completely satisfied, especially the first time. probably. I am particular, but I am very specific and clear. I describe what I want in full, including pictures and communication. I encourage ladies everywhere to ask that the stylist repeat back to you the description they heard you explain. It’s a good safeguard but not a guarantee. I expect to get what I ask for and pay for, but very rarely do.

Do NOT go here. Very rude! My husband bought me a Groupon for my birthday to get my hair done. I called to make an appointment and they refused to take me because I have been there before another time and Groupon was for first time users only. I told her it was given to me as a gift but she said she didn’t care. Told me they would not take me and was very mean about it. I’m pregnant and was really looking forward to have some relaxing alone time at the salon. I would never give my money to a business that turns away customers like that and SO RUDELY!! Not happy
