My sister booked 4 spa packages for my mothers 60 birthday . Showed up and they had no record of our services – despite having confirmation emails where we requested to book . After communicating via email, the owner gave us zero indication we needed to take any other action or reserve with a credit card. What was supposed to have been a relaxing treat for my mom and a way for us to kick off our weekend (and getting hair done before a night out etc.) turned into a complete let down. Wish I had seen the reviews before booking – seems like this isn’t the first time they’ve been letting down clients , Think twice before going here and pick a nicer salon in MV

Hands down….worst manicure EVER. I’ve been getting gel manicures for over 16 years. This is the first time I have had one lift off my nail….in fact, 3 have lifted off and I need to get everything removed asap because I fear a fungus will start. They only have some beige gel …which turns icky blue / green in the light. $90 plus a tip a week ago….NOT GOOD.

I was in MV for a vacay and a wedding by the end of the week. I booked 2 weeks ahead for a hair updo for myself and for my friend – hair updo and makeup. I was told over the phone that the make-up is $95 and at least $120 for the updo (It goes up according to the style). The $120 was quoted to me as I was told she was the best and the lesser price was for my friend (I forgot if its $100 only). The lady on the phone explained that these are ‘black out’ prices since its wedding season. We just agreed ‘cause its Martha’s Vineyard and we can’t do our own hair.

Make sure to request Salissa and Emily if you go too, I would 100% go back to them every time I need my hair and makeup done! Salissa did my hair for my wedding and was nice enough to touch it up after it got blown a bit when we went down to the beach for photos. The rest of the day we were mostly inside but my hair held up through all the hugging and dancing! People were amazed how well my hair looked at the end of the night. Emily’s makeup also held up the entire night and she is the sweetest person!! She is really good about asking you your opinion and is great about making changes as the makeup process goes on! They both are great in personality and their work! The massage was ok. My cousin and I wanted a 1 hour hot stone massage. We were told to tell the therapists. We went in search of the other building where we were supposed to go. We weren’t too good at finding our way but eventually did. Once we met the therapists, we shared we.wanted hot stone. Apparently it was too late for us to order what we wanted. They told us it would take 20 minutes to heat them up and we would not get it. They apologized. Forty minutes later our 60 minute massage was over. When we made our way to the front, unescorted again, we told the woman about our massage being cut 20 minutes short and that we could not get hot stones. She asked why, what happened. Once we told her she apologized for both and charged us the full price. They have the ability to be a great spa but it starts with great customer service and getting what you want and what you pay for. I hated not leaving a tip but I hate being ripped off and not receiving exceptional customer service more.

My appointment for makeup was at 11:15 and they did not bring me in until nearly 11:30. There was another wedding getting done at the same time and they were unsure who was doing who’s makeup.With all that aside, once we got started, my makeup artist was TOP NOTCH! She was knowledgeable and did everything I wanted. She knew what colors worked, did great with my color and skin, and truly made me look and feel like a princess on my wedding day! Her firm touch made sure all the knots were worked out in my back from months of a clenched jaw.
